i think you should make her slip and when she does she gets hit by the car for a more natural feeling but it is good so far

What programs do you use for those effect's and how do you put a background ? like that u film the sims runing and what program do u use to edit and put a background please answer me ive been wondering for years how people do this !

I used Sony Vegas to edit the movie, AFter Effects to do the rain effects.

The background is taking from sims 3. Basically i film the sims running in a green screen room then go into vegas replacing the greenscreen with the background taken from sims 3. There should be tons of green screen tutorial here on youtube. just do a search on it.

what does 4 layers of greenscreen mean?

1st Layer is the background

2nd layer is the teenage girl running

3rd is the woman

and 4th is the car.

Each layer was film individually with green screen and put together later in Vegas. Hope that answer your question.

looks great lsg... I agree the actual hit needs to be sped up... not the flying through the air bit... that looks great... just the actual hit... I would actually speed that up quite a bit as these things happen lightening fast in real life. :) Can't wait to see the movie, it looks like it's going to be groundbreaking! :)

Thanks for the suggestion Rupert. I've spent sometime working on it speeding up the car to make it looks more fatal like you said and add a little extra like the umbrella falls off her hand. (thanks to HorrorVictim for that suggestion)

I hope the final version won't disappoint you guys. :D

its great! But why did u use a sims 3 background... But still, thats what will make this video original!!!! No one has done that yet, I was planning to do a sims 1 background for sims 3 then a sims 2 background then a sims 3 one, so i can show the evolution, but the way you do ur greenscreening is phenomenal! I'll never be able to beat that lol!

Aww, thank you. the reason i'm using sims 3 bg is because i think it makes the scene looks more alive and it also saving me lots of time from decorating the bg in sims 2.

Hey wow this looks wicked, and intense. I'm really looking forward to all your visual effects. I agree with LaBellaInk... also the physics of her fall seems a little bit like she's a feather since the car came at her slowly she originally wouldn't go that far right? Ah but I can imagine how incredibly difficult and time consuming it must be to make an animation so I think it's really amazing that you have done it. I can't even make an arm animation, I am envious of your skills.

The rain is done with CC Particle World effect and CC Drizzle.
