  • Well u can't disobey the police it's a public sidewalk u can't camp in the middle of it

  • all of those making anti protest comments are fucking trolls who get mad simply because they have small dicks.

  • I got an idea, how about instead of protesting about how fucked up life is why not just go back to class that your paying for, learn and get your degree so you wont be homless :)

  • Ahhhhh..... I love the smell of freshly pepper sprayed "peaceful" protesters in the morning... :-)

  • Arrogance, ignorance, stupidity, insecurity, laziness, envy, .... all attempting to masquerade as "everyman" decency and strength .

  • Anybody that says they made an "epic Hopscotch" at a protest is a fucking idiot to me.

  • You set up an encampment... Hmmmm.... The right to assemble and hold peaceful protests does not include the right to put up a camp or build a domicle... Wait, he says in his "powerful, and emotive" crying statement that you are just kids. Aren't you all in college? Unless your Dogie Howser MD then you're at least 18 years old. That makes you an adult. Stop crying. You were warned and ignored the warnings.

  • He was getting emotinal I kissed my girlfriend on the cheek waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Freaking hippies they should have shot them with paintball guns actually they are aloud to use force in riots they r aloud to use deadly force and it was a little mace and so sad he kissed his "girl"friend hmmmm boyfriend on the cheek babies

  • This pussy and his cohorts deserved all the pepper spray that occupied their eyes and lungs. I wish they could be thrown in a pit of it. Wannabe revolutionist/activist, hipster, self righteous trashy pukes....fuck them.

  • Sure, and if the police had attempted to step over your precious "Occupy Anything but a Classroom" students/protesters and accidently bumped one or stepped on a finger you can bet they would be screaming more about police brutality than they are now...

  • you're no longer a child either.

  • I am appalled at those who fail to grasp the importance of your right to peacefully assemble.

  • whoever can can whatever about the incident, but its about standing up for yourself. both the police and the students stood up for theirslef. the kids did what the hell they thought was right...and the cops did what they needed to do to protect theirself....i could see how they felt threneted...both sides felt threanted.

  • Closing your eyes doesn't stop pepper spray, if you don't want to be pepper sprayed, let the police leave. Thats like saying to a thief with a gun "I'm not letting you go." What are you, stupid? You're meant to be a university student.

  • We need a fucking war to get these peices of shit off the campuses and into the factories and foxholes. Then, after its all over, the self entitled assholes I'm shamed to call my generation might just get a clue.

  • fuggin hippies

  • He forgot the part where he was given 4 opportunities to get out of the way, and off the sidewalk like the officer asked him to do.

  • other "just kids" stormed the beaches of Normandy, parachuted over enemy territory in Nice, defending freedom throughout the world. Then they came home and built the most robust economy the world has ever known, taking education, technology, and standards of living to heights never before seen in human history. Alas...we are a pathetic generation of over-entitled whiners. May God save us in spite of ourselves.

  • @TheVentureCapitalist especially those that fail to stand up for, or dismiss the hard fought and won liberties too many take for granted.

  • @salmonslug breaking the law and bullying the police is not a hard fought liberty. This is not the cultural revolution. I think it may behoove us young americans to spend some time abroad, not in europe, but rather in a third world country. Maybe then we will be able to distinguish between inalienable rights and privileges.

  • @jorfila1027 in what reality do you live where people sitting peacefully are considered the bullies-- a horribly threatening posture to those decked in riot gear brandishing chemical weapons. Perhaps there are third world countries with fewer rights and privileges, and we should be aware of this, but sorry, this is the US of A and we enjoy more freedoms than most places. The police are to 'protect and serve,' and under scrutiny of this incident the chief of police was placed on admin leave.

  • @fallenkingdan Dude, the Humbolt case was criminal trespass on private property. I doubt they had the correct permits to hold a sit in on the company's HQ's lobby.

  • @agonizethis That didn't stop the court ruling that the police violated the protesters 4th amendment rights and that the use of pepper spray was unnecessary and excessive. The kids at UC Davis weren't trespassing and yet they still got sprayed. This kind of police abuse of power will only escalate, it's not something that's likely to get better. Next you'll have police macing people for jaywalking, and there'll still be idiots saying it's perfectly justified!

  • @agonizethis and the justice system ruled it excessive force... so, there you go. This is way beyond the Humboldt incident, and I would expect the police officers at Davis got the memo somewhere during their training. Whether or not you agree with the OWS movement, this was clearly police brutality.

  • @oreide1 haha, nice

  • By the way, I've been pepper sprayed for training. It hurts, not to the extent that this idiot plays it up, but it does hurt and it makes you want to be more negotiable. It doesn't feel like hot glass, it feels like someone just hit your eyes with a blast of heat from an old car's exhaust pipe, at least for me anyway. My point is that to distract from the story of why the cop sprayed him, he decides to play on the crowd's sympathies like a pansy.

  • @TheEnviousdominous Part of civil disobedience is the acceptance that one may face legal consequences for ones actions....not cry and play like they are innocent victims. In most cases when people stand up and protest and practice civil disobedience, it's commendable. Making threats and being aggressive to police in no way helped their cause. And yes, aggressive, when you surround anyone, ANYONE, and make demands before you will release them, that is aggressive.

  • @TheEnviousdominous Clearly not everybody is as tough as you.

  • Here's the thing. When I saw the cop spraying the line of protesters in the eyes, I didn't see him doing so in a defensive manner.

There's a lot of kids like this guy playing the victim, over-dramatizing what happened. To everyone who hates them for being pathetic, realize that the cops GAVE them justification for their idiotic behavior and their idiotic perspective on what actually happened.

This country is so socially backward and you have to pick an extreme to be a model citizen.

  • "We're just kids ?" Aww you poor little baby. Whine whine whine. You are just spoiled brats.

  • @patteel Run along, I think a new episode of the O'Reilly factor is on... I wouldn't want you to miss any of it.

  • @hoyj4111 I think it's funny that all these anti protester comments are getting spammed. And I agree with what you say. All true

  • I think I'm going to fair here. Both sides are wrong. is this guy kind of a jackass? yah. but was he entirely wrong? no. they thought that they had been wronged, so they stood up for what they believed in. And im not talking about the wallstreet shit, im talking about the evacuation of the camp and the arrests. but the cops were also in the right because they saw the students circling them as threatening. pepper spray shouldnt have been the first option. i would have just walked through them.

  • And some of them resisted arrest, fucking idiot....

  • They did not "throw his friends on the ground", they just handcuffed them...

  • he must be majoring in theater and ignorance

  • you sir.. are a douche bag.. awww your poor "hot glass in your eyes". i've gotten pepper sprayed before too and it doesnt need to be portrayed as an epic novel event. YOU DESERVED IT

  • Comment removed

  • This "kid" is not Gandhi...

  • @ziggs0323 Students had a permit from the Chancellor Kastehi to stay. She ordered campus cops to remove the tents, not students. The problem is people here are posting opinion without knowing the fact. Students were not blocking anything. There is a huge error in the design of the Centennial walkway; it does not lead anywhere. It is just a symbolic but useless path. I am from a free country where police serves citizens. I can not believe people in developed country support cops harassing students.

  • @lvcappuccino The students formed a circle, around the police, they weren't blocking just the path.

  • @lvcappuccino Go to 2:00 he even says that it was a circle. :D

  • @ziggs0323 Theres also a video of the chancellor apologizing for the students, and she even said she wish she wasn't the chancellor of the university of those students.

  • @ziggs0323 can you link it to me?? thanks

  • @ziggs0323 Yes because sitting down chanting is oh so threatening when your wearing full riot gear and armed with pepper spray. Like the officers were in danger of any physical violence from a bunch of pacifist hippy students who were all unarmed, give me a break, talk about a lack of balls and brains.

  • @purpleprinc3 you are so right

  • Heres 2 tips for not getting peppered sprayed.

    1) Stop chanting when police tell you something. You might actually here it.

    2) Don't block the police from leaving an area, they usually see that as something that is threatening.

  • @domoniquetorres11 Hear*

  • @domoniquetorres11 you sir, are undeserving of your right to peacefully assemble.

  • @domoniquetorres11 I have two points.

The first is it is Hear, not Here.

The second is, They were not blocking the police, they simply sat down. The police could have left, if it was their intention. They were well within their rights to Assemble on the university quad.

  • @domoniquetorres11 Here are two tips for an oppressive government.

    1) Abridge the freedom of speech.

    2) Interfere with those who peacefully assemble.

Now let me take a look at your First Amendment. It says 'No law abridging the freedom of speech', also this funny little note, 'interfering with the right to peaceably assemble'. I guess you didn't 'here' that part of the First Amendment, oh well, minor details!

  • @purpleprinc3 The second the protesters said "you let them go, and we let you leave", it was no longer a peaceful assebly. That is a threat. I've been peppered spray as a part of my training. It sucks. I work for a police department, and they had a right to pepper spray those students.

  • @domoniquetorres11 With all due respect, that was in reaction to the unlawful actions of officers interfering with the right of those to assemble peacefully as stated in your First Amendment. If officers cannot uphold the law, how can you expect civilians to. When a government acts unlawfully, so does its civilians. You cannot expect double standards where it suits you. However I do not blame the police, it is the politician's who give out these orders and know there effects.

  • @domoniquetorres11

    3) And, above all, OBEY

    That's what you're saying, right?

Well now obey me and go die.

  • when you saw your friends getting arrested why would you not leave? if my friend were to tell me that police in riot gear were coming my way i wouldn't say "oh what do i do?" i would get my ass out of the way and not get in a circle and start singing. idiots

  • @Dtroxel916 also once you circle the police with a large crowd and don't let them leave you are not a peaceful protest anymore

  • @Dtroxel916 also once you comment such shit on youtube you are not a peaceful protest anymore. Let me get my pepperspray.

Peaceful means the absence of physical force that one applies on another (violence). Now tell me what's violent about sitting around in a circle.

And tell me how the circle can justify the spraying if it was already dissolved. And by the way, who started detaining people?

  • Wow this is so emotional. I can not believe this happened, oh my god. He must have had a really rough life.

  • this guy is a bad speaker.

but i'm still not convinced of the police's holiness...

  • I like the part where he said "we couldn't hear the lawful order to disburse, but we kept chanting".

How can anyone ignore the illogical nature of these protests?

  • /watch?v=hhPdH3wE0_Y

    Well you're fucked now.

  • what a cocky prick

  • lol.. this is soooooooooooooo sad... how can they even justify what they did right if they did everything illegal to begin with...

im not a pro - cop, but i respect the law and follow it, and if a police officer gets out of hand, i sue the shit out of him/her.

Stop fucking crying hippies, and follow the law next time. Half of these protests originate from dumb kids who thinks they are entitled to everything..

  • Actually, you literally chose the path of violence...just sayin.

  • You don't need a reason to follow an order from someone who is in power. When the chancellor asked you to leave... you should have done it. They dont have to give you a reason.... you pretentious child. Go cry at home instead of fighting tears with your powerful speech.

  • @jennybabylove21 I wouldn't exactly use the word "powerful" to describe his speech, but I'm with you all the way! "We're just kids!" How many times has he said the exact opposite to his teachers and parents? If they were kids, they'd be camping out with their parents, not their dealers. How old are they? I'm going to say all at least 18, so they can vote. No "kids." They're Tom Hanks in "Big": grown up body, but still a kid's brain and maturity.

  • /watch?v=hhPdH3wE0_Y

    Sorry, your fault.

  • Not even going to watch this full video. Hippies like this guy are the reason the peaceful protest went to shit. I personally wouldn't want a "camp" full of college kids living on my school campus, and I'm pretty certain that's not allowed. When someone yelled riot police, you held hands and started chanting? Wow. How about listen to the authorities and hear what they have to say so you don't get into trouble. Everyone there knew exactly what they were getting into

  • You guys are kids, 20 year old selfish kids. While they're are thousands of Soldiers, Airmen, seamen and Marines the exact same age as you, many who are younger. They have sacrificed they're life, leaving they're friends and family forever protecting your freedom and rights. These People are MEN and WOMEN of the United States. YOU are KIDS.

  • Last I checked, once you turned 18 you're an adult.

  • @skirider8; lol don't trip, i wasn't trying to sound mean or some just trying to speak my mind but didn't notice i sounded pissed. My bads

  • @savage14sj all good broseph. we fight for the same cause. throw all the hipsters on an island and blow em up

  • By the way, everyone on here if im correct look up penal code 420; obstructing passage on public land. Upvote so people could see.

  • Fucking hipsters. The police asked you guys to move but you refused and started chanting fuck the police. This is why I hate hipsters.....

  • @skirider8; their not ignorant people their stupid people. Ignorant means not knowing, stupid means not knowing and not wanting to know. This protestors clearly don't know their laws and are playing the victim role.

  • @savage14sj Wont disagree with you there lol. i was trying to be nice

  • HaHa!, Its funny cause he's and idiot... "...we're just kids" lol

  • degenerates

  • Maybe if u weren't violating a law and listened to the police give you warnings and telling what would happen you wouldn't have been sprayed.

  • @savage14sj

See ignorant people like him do no understand that doing the exact opposite of what the police say is breaking a law. There was a police vehicle coming through the path, he was one of the twenty or students who did not want to move for it. A police officer said he was going to use force if they did not listen. Those police officers are saints, they should have not put up with their disobedience as long as they did.

  • I am glad that you were part of circling police and trapping them. Also you are just a child for your reaction. You go to one of the greatest schools in California, one of the greatest in the nation and you disgraced it. You say that you did not know what was going on, but the police officer told each and one of the students who were sprayed what was going to happen. Stop being ignorant get your degree and go make the difference and actually support your cause.

    Grow up David.

  • What a whiny media whore.

  • You got what you deserved shit head

  • you guys really dont deserve any sympathy really.

  • "My name is David Duchebag and I could have learned a very valuable lesson the other day but i didn't cause I am a stuck up ignorant fuck

  • My name is david douchebag and i could have learned a very valuable lesson from the pepper spray incident but instead im an ignorant fuck

  • first guy is such a bitch ass drama queen. fucking faggot

  • Stop being part of my generation. Shut up until you know what you're talking about. At least don't use the word "Occupy" for your bullshit.

  • "We couldn't hear the officer."..Because you guys were chanting like morons.

  • Comment removed

  • You blocked their path. They told you to move because interfering with them is against the law. You were warned many times they would use force if you didn't move. They used pepper spray on you. Sounds okay to me. If I ever do something stupid like that I expect someone to come pepper spray me as well.

  • @icookfood36 haha, he made it sounds like the cops pepper sprayed kindergartners. especially because they weren't doing anything but sitting in a circle singing.

  • I can't even watch this, this is so sensationalized and exaggerated

the cops gave you guys warnings many times, and you CHANTED OVER THEM, drowning out the orders from the police, who were trying their very best to disperse the protesters in the most peaceful way possible

  • Dude you are a fag. Jesus watch some fucking 60's documentaries and learn how to properly protest. I watched the video of the pepper spray incident and you guys look like dumbasses.

  • The way I see it. I think police officers were the victims.

  • oh it was fun, get a job hippie, Dunkin Donuts is hiring

  • Stop acting like spoiled children with nothing to do. Your parents don't pay your tuition for you to play hacky sack, obstruct pathways, living in tents on the quad. You were sprayed because you falsely imprisoned police. As a fellow student, I have the right to live my life undisrupted by your protests. While you were chalking epic hop scotch lines on the sidewalk, I was in the library working hard, or serving coffee at my JOB so that I could take less loans. How much do you spend on pot?

  • God damn hippies.

  • what a drama queen. just kids? haha. future of America.

  • Cool story bro. Now stop twisting everything that happened to make it sound like you guys were the victims.

  • Way to twist and say anything to make it look like you are actually a victim. We saw the video, we know what happened. You broke the law, you got peppered sprayed.

  • if you support the protests on wall street and the rate hikes, good for you, just don't act like the people in /watch?v=hhPdH3wE0_Y&feature=player_embedded#!

  • it's bad enough that he is speaking about this bull shit, but the lady next to him is telling the deaf people too. This guy said "we sat down because we did not know what to do" WTF is wrong with this dip shit. Looks like the only thing being taught at Davis is how to draw an "Epic Hop-scoth" and complain. What a fucking pussy.

  • I bet he feels stupid reading all the comments about how stupid he sounds bahahha

  • Maybe the cops didn't leave because u blocked them in you moron. They came in riot gear because you aren't protesting your rights anymore your protesting to let your friends go. Maybe you should get up and leave morons. Guess the pepper spray got you yards to move lol!

  • You dumbass on stage: Maybe you didn't hear because you were disrespectfully changing "fuck the police" & other crap. You are full of lies in your "speech". The police were there for hours (IN RIOT GEAR) giving you multiple warnings. "Your proudest moment of your life is pathetic". Your ass should be in jail. Check this site: law.onecle.com/california/penal/148.html I bet your parents are embarrassed. They worked for you to go to college, I assume, and you are THIS full of shit.

  • After watching the full sequence of videos from that day, I can't believe how many things are just complete and utter lies in this guy's speech. He has a the right to express his frustrations and with being pepper sprayed, but if he's going to do so with this level of dishonesty then his appeal holds absolutely no purpose.

  • There is nothing in this speech to be proud of. No point given for the protest. Nothing heroic about breaking the law and resisting arrest, nor surrounding police and refusing to leave. He is only a victim of his own lies and deception. It is the minority that believe anything was accomplished by this protest. It's just a sad commentary on how a few people can persuade others to repeat their chants and follow like sheep.

  • @GoddessAngelinaj Shame on you for your comments in regards to soldiers using civilians as shields and that individuals who join the military weren't smart enough to get into college. People like you who don't understand a soldier's patriotism to join is revolting. You're equal to the people who called vietnam veterans "baby killers" and spit on them.

  • my favorite part "WE ARE KIDs, WE'RE JUST KIDS" - says the bearded hipster among college students rofl

  • This is NorCal, Davis. Bunch of hippies. dont take it serious guys

  • "Were just kids." No. You are legal adults fully responsible for your actions. You were given almost a dozen warning of what the consequences would be and you were too naive and arrogant to disperse. IMO. You deserved everything you got. You are lucky I wasn't there to beat your pussy asses.

  • @XDexdeeXD LOL so true.

  • Holy shit is this guy the future of America...Grow up. Life is tough and its tougher if your stupid

  • Rehearsed speech to spread more hate and propaganda. I see what you did there.

  • What. A. Fucking. Joke. Way to play a victim, though. Do you need therapy now? GTFOH

  • This guy is an f'ing idiot.

  • Sorry, but this is hilarious.

  • Not a single one resisted arrest.... Oh except all of them preventing the police from taking the arrested people out of the area. Try reading the law.

  • wow... he had no idea this was going to happen.... he had been warned repeatedly that pepper would be used prior to the spray being used. AND the spray came from the officers IN FRONT. Why does he need to lie about it. OH, THAT'S RIGHT it is because he KNOWS he was breaking the law!

  • Just because it is "safe and welcoming" doesn't mean it is legal. Especially after being warned the day before that it was illegal and would be removed and anyone refusing to leave the area would be arrested. Then you don't leave and some get arrested, but that isn't enough for these people, now they prevent the police from taking the arrested people out of the area (a much more serious crime). They aren't protesting corporate greed. They are simply being breaking laws for their own publicity.

  • After watching the video, about what really happened. Half of what this guy says is meaningless propaganda and the other half is lies. The fact that he talking about the protesting and not about the purpose of the protest suggest that he really doesn't care about the initial issue. Propaganda keeps us blinded, no matter whose propaganda it is.

  • fucking idiots hope he and his friends and whole family gets pepper sprayed. some college students are irrational

  • apparently ya'll don't know that you are on a federally/state funded college where they own every part of your university. you are paying to use their property and when signing to attend their college you agree to abide by their laws one of which is not camping on the grounds. the pepper spray happened cause you blocked their path and refused to leave after multiple warnings. even if you didnt hear the warnings in what society would it ever be legal to block a law enforcers path. way to go idiot

  • *sigh*

  • @lostdude93 Would it be better to beat the kids with batons? Perhaps prying them apart one by one when they were obviously outnumbered? Lets face it, giving each individual in the chain the opportunity to acknowledge that force would be used to remove them was more than kind and fair. They used the least permanently harmful way to clear the crowd. Do you suggest that the police should have capitulated?

  • @lostdude93 The police cleared an unlawful encampment showing great patience and restraint. Those that resisted were arrested and the police were leaving with those in custody while allowing the rest of the people to do what they wanted. When surrounded and threatened that they were not allowed to leave, what do you suggest they do? When faced with a chain of people on the ground, are they supposed to step over them and carry those in custody over the top??

  • Shut up and graduate so you can join the real world

  • You are not kids, you are in college, so quit trying to tell people you are "just kids". You were told to leave because you violated the city's rules by not having a permit to camp out in the quad. You were warned and warned, but continued to violate the orders of the police. you chanted fuck the police, and told them you would give them a moment of silence. Now, after you violated the law and threatened the cops, you will stand here and tell us you deserve our sympathy? thats truly pathetic

  • @icookfood35 Time for these kids to start taking responsibility for their actions. Otherwise the future of this country is screwed.....

  • This "testimonial" is fallacious. You went against a police order and were warned and warned and WARNED. It shouldn't have been a HUGE shock that you got pepper sprayed (he was shaking the silly pepper spray for a good minute) You chose to get pepper sprayed. You shouldn't have provoked the police. He went one by one asking if each person understood that force would be used on them, YOU COULD HAVE LEFT.

  • @kgpayne75 yes, but. What were they doing wrong? What were they doing that was so illegal that merited the use of violent and malicious police actions?

  • these individuals surrounded the police and were all warned(while they were chanting "fuck the police from davis to greece"sounds like singing) and all of them confirmed that if they wouldn't allow police officers to leave force would be used to unblock the path. This was not some out of the blue sudden thing.. it took all day to build up to that point, the "peaceful" protestors afterward told police "we will allow you a brief moment of peace so that you may leave"... this could've been avoided

  • @tsnipe28 Well they were peaceful. They were in no way violent or malicious. You're allowed to say "fuck the police" it violates no laws. The worst thing some people did was resist arrest.

  • @TheCoalescent They violated a law: law.onecle.com/california/penal/148.html

  • youtube.com/watch?v=hhPdH3wE0_Y

  • Define kids....should I give you a lollipop!?! Dude college kids wow...is this really our future?

  • Like how the vid of the pepper spray incident was filmed with an iPad lol...they got nothing to complain about

  • Who cares!!!

  • U.C. Davis pepper spray - What really happened. Youtube video.

  • Hey kid, act like a man you get treated like one. If you are a kid, stop playing an adults game. I have seen the entire video of that day, you can twist your reality but the tape doesn't lie. Go look for attention somewhere else.

  • This is meaningful and epic.

  • "UC Davis Pepper Spray - What really happened." You are thugs you were warned watch the video.

  • @welchdano full of shit

  • I don't think he is a kid. I watched "UC Davis Pepper Spray - What really happened." The police were trying to leave and the protestors blocked them in. The protestors were given plenty of warning. The police were not trying to stop the protesting, only the camping. While the students weren't being violent, they were obstructing the police from leaving. It would have been worse if the police physically removed the protestors, so, pepper spray was the best way to passively remove them.

  • @salvationiseternal full of shit

  • @salvationiseternal they were also told they could protest but not camp out on campus and they did anyway since they didnt want to leave they got pepper sprayed non lethal force

  • A few months back Ive been pepper sprayed during training. It was voluntary and a great experience. As a tool it is very effective and it will most of the time disable the threat. The pain is intense and the breathing is hard which create panic. I would never use that tool on a passive person. There was no logical reason to use pepper as there was no threats from the protester.

  • @chubbykitty21 clearly you have never taken a stand for something you believe in like they did, those people were only participating in a non-violent protest, and no they may not be kids but they are far from being " all grown up " The so called law acted against one of our rights, they should be the ones punished and not the protestors. You know, everything about the government not only disappoints me but it makes me sick.

  • @sparkle2928 dude your talking to scum and many are paid to talk shit about the protesters. it all politics . the politicans hope to get half the vote from them ,they make littel grunts about the occupiers like there helping them or supporting them, usa sends one hundred billion of aid to the world every year but cant afford portable pottys for there own citizens, ya right

  • SOLIDARITY - UK Well done and the greatest respect to you all, espescially to those that were pepper sprayed by the mad cop, and suffered violence at the hands of the hired thugs,

  • This guy is just a dumbass pot head. He talked about how they were just kids. Look at yourself your in college and have a fucking beard. You are not a kid. Not cooperating with police is breaking the law jackass.

  • @chubbykitty21 Are you serious?!? You obviously have NO clue whatsoever! The police were the ones acting unlawfully, Peacefully protesting is not against the law! If you suffer from mental health issues I apologise but you should probably be better supervised

  • @fallenkingdan the students were told not5 to camp over night at the campus and they did for a few days they would not get up from the ground so the officer used a NON-LETHAL method of force coming from a MP he used correct methods to get the students out of the campus

  • @gibsonLPS I think you'll find you are mistaken. Whether the students are allowed to camp or not is not the issue here. It's the excessive force used by police. Pepper sprays proper legal use is in defence when an officer is threatened or in physical danger. The way it is used here is a violation of these kid's 4th amendment rights. It was ruled to be so in a similar case. If they'd used lethal force would you be coming up with excuses for them then too? It's sad you think this is ok!

  • @fallenkingdan But surrounding the police is perfectly fine, they were asked to leave, and were breaking the law for not doing so. These kids got what they deserved.
