Didn't Google make like goodzillion dollars from advertising just while I'm writing this comment? Yeah, they did. So, stop blshting us... If you would see in the log files which position the click came from would be really useful!

I find the "Top search queries" feature in webmaster tools to be quite affective.

You just need to use the drop down menus to narrow down the results to show either "Images, Mobile devices or Web search" rather than "All searches" and choose individual Google domains rather than "All Google domains".

If you don't use it, you get the best of everything in one result Which confuses some people when they do a search and find they are not in the position WMTs says they are.
