If you're going to talk about loss of players being a factor, let's talk about true freshman Matthew Stafford having to play his first college game ever against Tennessee in 2006 and UGA's starting tailback breaking his collarbone against UT in 2007. There are only five BCS bowl games and when a team like Illinois gets invited to the Rose Bowl instead of UGA, that's somehow UGA's fault??? BTW, I loved that "convincing" win over very mediocre Wisconsin this year. UGA will thump UT this year.
