pyk420 spot on. There is no way Ishii would fake the fight on the basis of semap/kohai relations-he has been pretty much disowned by the kodokan for his behaviour and breaking of Japanese etiquite.

What we have here is Yoshida who has fought MMA stand up with the best of them,cro cop, wanderlei etc, VS a guy who is really just learning to punch and doesnt look like he should even bother learn trying to kick-those low kicks were woeful ishii!! find a decent trainer fast.

This fight was fake. Ishii lost simply to keep his senpai's face. Yoshida announced the next match would be his last match then will retire, made the announcement right after the match. Probably the opponent will be again Ishii, what a drama. Ishii will win the next match, of course. It's all scripted.
