These tests aren't a reliable indicator for cable, since they are only about 10 seconds long. Cable ises a technology called powerboost or it's also referred to burst speed. Which will give you the full bankwidth for about 30sec then cut it considerably somtimes by a factor of 10. The idea being many only download smaller files like photos. FiOS on the other hand does not cut it's bandwidth, no matter how long the download is.
dude on these test i tells you its fast but, you dont actually get all the speed you think you're specially because cable shares the speed with everyone around who is using the plan, with FIOS you get a direct line non sharing with anyone And you get all the speed, i choose fios over cable i dont care how fast cable is i rather get quiality than non reliable cable.

u might be right but that what the lowest speed i tested at. at night its more like32 to 34 megs but u might be right about the fiber part. im still happy with what i got. fios is not aviable where i live so i have to deal with it.

the came out 13 time b 4 the figured out what was wrong with out line then when they find out they try to get me to pay for them to fix there problem
no thanks ill stick with fios where it has much better speeds down(50mbps) up(20mbps) and much better price

lol you think i fuckin lie? not ONCE have i had an abnormal download speed. always shoots up to 3 mb, then slows to a nice 1.6mb per second.
with fios, download maybe always 2mb constant, but try using another computer or an xbox while doing that. slows down the entire home network.
when ever i play a fios host, it lags a lot on both pc and xbox.
with any other, its fine. i can easily play my xbox, my pc, and have my dad, sister and mom on there's all at the same time and still doesnt slow..
