  • love this

  • Audio video a tad unsynced on my side, but awesome jam. :)

  • BASS FACE! 2.09

  • Your face looks like "I kill you motherfucker, I KILL YOU!!!!"

  • nice playing face by the way, lol, i make some funny faces when I play too lol

  • its allbased on opinion. some say NT is better others BO.

the thing is here NT costs alot more.

but, if you want the ballsy sound id go for NT (sounds thicker)

  • lol dude you look like a guy i know from the skate park xD oh well still awesome man 5/5

  • Happy Scrappy Hero Pup

  • Nice playing, I see some simularities with me playing my Warwick Thumb NT 4, totaly lost in time, I bet he has no clue he's been filmed. LOL

  • Sounds like a zoom BFX 708 pedal with drum-modes :D

    Good stuff!

  • it certainly is! lol.

  • the diminished scale has got to be the funnest scale to screw around with on bass lol.

  • You should tab out the taps, that looks like a great exercise and it sounds fun to play.

  • How long you been playing dude? i liked the slap bass riffs you threw in there, sick man

  • BAD ASS lol this shit is tight dude keep the vids comin im subscribing!

  • Im thinking of buying one of these. Is it an overall good bass? The tone sounds really good. How much do they usually cost?

  • theyre like 3-5 grand

  • You can get one on ebay used for about $1000.

  • yeah they're expesnsive man, warwicks are pretty much top of the line bass guitars ya know, so they run you 3 to 5 grand depending on which one you get, honostly i reccomend the bolt on neck warwick thumb bass, your choice of how many strings (whatever you comfortable with)

  • @pallyfan92

i personally like the sound of a NT. its a bit thicker and fuller as opposed to the percussive sound you can get out of BO. it really depends on what and how you play though...

    (no offense)

  • @killonn, no offense taken, i understand completely. I was wondering though maybe you could tell me, what kind is better to get, BO on NT if you really want a deep ballsy growl from your bass, i know the amp counts alot on that factor but which guitar really makes a good growly sound? do ya know which is better? BO on NT?

  • I very much enjoyed this.

    Nice bass.

  • yeah i totally get you man

  • i noticed you do one thing then do it over a bunch of times whats uyp with that ...

  • well, thats what you do when you're jamming, no set structure, just for fun, y'know???

  • the first 2 minutes and 9 seconds is soooooooooooooo annoying ..same shit over and over ..but the stuff after is awesome ..good job ...cut the first part out

  • Yeah it is annoying, but I was learning to 2 hand tap. Can't be just doing something once and then thinking I've perfected it. Practice makes perfect etc etc, :P

  • wha the fuck.....? thats a pretty badass and original little bass lick. I personally loved it. the WHOLE thing. It is what it is you fuckin elitist.

  • Killer bass and well done!!

  • i like the tone.

  • do you play everyday? you have a tight tempo and a great groove, sounding like a guy that plays bass for many years. Nice tapping. I´ve got a Streamer 5 by Warwick, great basses. Cheers.

  • fucking wow...

  • To be honest, the tapping part i skipped mostly. it sounded pretty annoying to me and it got on my nerves. Technicaly it was good though. The slap part was nice, very good slap sound too.

  • yeah, I agree. It's far too long. for anyone else reading this, just skip to 2.00 for the slap. :P

  • Dude, that's some excellent work. I'm just starting to get into slap and tap work after playing for 15 years. It's harder than it looks that's for sure. This would be a fantastic exercise/workout to play. Would you be interested in charting it out? I'd love to learn it.

  • Very cool - a Claypool-esque tone. Well done. What year is that Thumb - does it have a wenge or ovangkol neck?

  • Ha - nevermind. You answered it in an earlier comment. Still a great groove.

  • Hey man, tappy si quite substndard and boring. I'm play'n 2 years and I tihk tappy paly is quite easy, but that splappy rytmic part is GREAT. Man keep play'n and training.

  • What gauge/brand strings are you using? You've got the perfect ammount of growl while maintaining plenty of low end.

  • Hey man, thanks for the comment.... I only ever use elites stadium stainless steel strings. these ones are a bit worn in here, usually they'll have a lot more zing to 'em. :) Gauges 100 - 80 - 60 - 40

  • you keep a nice beat man

and really good tapping technique, sounds awesome

  • Nice tone, what are you playing through?

  • Cheers buddy! Just my Zoom BFX708 and a Roland 10 inch speaker. I would have used my Boogie, but its just too loud for in the house!

  • Great rythmics

  • learning? man to me you llok like a semi-god..

I just started palying bass tho (im 20...I think I am awfully late :( )

  • @piprave Dont be like that man the longer you think like that, the longer you'll hold yourself back from getting as good as you want to. I started at 18 and i was like that 2 coz most ppl start at like 12 (and Victor Wooten started at 2!) so i was like " i'll never get good" and it held me back for at least a year. If its what you love and you persevere, you'll get there. Its about saying something thats worth listening too, not how fast or technical you say it. Keep at it man:)

  • love this song thingy

  • DAMN!! butiful tone and great playing! thumbs are great.

  • Hey ,very nice,is that a Bolt on?,what about woods?ovangkol body and Wenge neck?year?thanks a lot,very good playing

  • Hey, Thanks. Still learning! got a long way to go though! Its a 2004 bolt on,

  • very primus.
