Very similar to the Zune HD's operating system. Since I've got one, I might just buy this phone. Although many people who have bought this do not fancy this new OS, but because Nokia is trying something different to compete with Apple and Android, I feel the need to support them, not because I have always preferred Nokia phones, but because they make a decent cellphone overall.

@Raztamoket I am not truly defending android but seriously, can you still trust microsoft to make a good product. Even if it did make one you still trust them to continue to make good ones? Windows is still a complete bloatware, Xbox is has constant hard disk problems, microsoft flight simulator doesn't simulate reality and microsoft office has not truly changed over the past decade, most of the changes were graphical ones and arrangement and it does not deserve as much as they want us to pay.

But if you are actually not convinced then please see "Pirates of the Silicon Valley", and ask any pilot about microsoft's "Flight Simulator" he will say it does not simulate reality properly, and I never heard of a 260, so you might mean xbox360, I can't believe that it survived that long, unless you rarely use it.

Why are there people complaining about app's? I'm using android and they have like 500000 apps iOS has even more but that doesn't make them good. Most of those apps are junk and just copy's of each other. You can't actually say you're going to download all of them. I only download what I need which is barely 15 apps. I'm just looking forward to moving on to windows 7.5 though.

@stipe1906 Um i don't know if can add or not, but 70 000 isn't exactly 600 000 apps which the iOS app store has. And yes, i do know that there are 500 apps added daily. But there are at least 800 added to iOS in the same timeframe. So just so your little mind can comprehend this: the iOS app store will always have more. And, I'm not arguing that WP7 is rubbish, because i love it. I just love iOS more because it offers more, and simply put, is better.

@3GSDANIEL Don't. I did, it's a good phone but not worth leaving an iphone. Plus it has battery bugs, audio quality problems (which will all be fixed with updates, but anyways) and apps on iOS are x1000 times better. the music player is pretty bad, no free seeking, you have to press the fast forward or previous button to seek... that sucks. And that applies to internet video as well. you can't type-search music either on the player. Multitasking is very confusing and unpractical.

I have the nokia lumia 800 and although the phone looks and feels great, I think there are some really silly issues with it which come out when you start using it. Nokia gave me the coporate blow off and passed the buck to Microsoft, so I created the website nokia-lumia-800 org to try to get them to listen. The issues are just bad software engineering problems which would be simple to fix - if they wanted.

Nokia was too simple for my use.

It seems that it also has a lack of performance compared to current smaprtphones.

So if people want an simple smartphones for daily usage of gps, sms/mms/calling then the phone would be perfect for you.

While i prefer a phone that has a little more advanced ui, has better performance for games, good camera for recording in 1080p, takes high resolution pictures and has a big screen with minimum 4 inches.
