@JAmidon701  The guy at 1:10 is her brother,Christopher. And according to his book, he was quite pissed off that Madonna would film the two of them visiting the cemetery. He was under the impression that their visit would be just the two of them. but when they got there the camera crew showed up to film them. He said that their mother's death was something that didn't need to be included for entertainment's sake. He said that part of it was even restaged for the camera crew.

@latinguy67 oh she already has thaT peace.she has a teenager daughter of her own who she loves2death.many pple lost their parents at early age..but trust me..it feels so much worse when u hear there are people&kids out there from broken houses/families who dont want to meet their one(gone)parent,most times dads,cuz they grew up in a single parent family&felt this abandoness deeply which hurted them beyond remedy&there are lots who experienced that hurt&grew up like this,i think thats truly worse

My mom died when I was almost five................one of the things about Madonna that attracted me to her was the fact that her mother died when she was five. People don't understand what that does to you at that age...I'm glad Madonna went on to make her mark on the world....most of us in that situation don't.

I remember reading an interview that Madonna gave to Vogue or some fashion mag in the 90's when Erotica was out. She said her mother's death could have affected her in one of two ways: she could withdraw and be afraid or she could use it to drive her to accomplish things (not an exact quote mind you).
