@items419 not so far (yay!) although i can't speak for the endgame as we're only like level 15 at the moment. so far tho, the game has been anything but grindy =)
@sambonz It is not quite a grind fest, you have rifts, dungeons, pvp and quests to level on. I played since beta, but I've made so many different chars I'm still not level 50 (got a level 47 though)
@Poogist hehe yup, having played much further into the game since this video, it's turning out great just how many ways there are to play and enjoy the game =)
@StarWarsTDSaintsRow ...(cont) so they're totally different beasts really =) Rift is a traditional MMO with multiple activities and very in-depth game systems, and traditional 'skill-based' combat. DCUO on the other hand is more of an 'action fix' type of game, with a very action-orientated realtime combat system, and in many ways is akin to playing Darksiders or Prototype. it really depends what your personal gaming preference is - hopefully this series helps you see what it's like! =)
@StarWarsTDSaintsRow hrm that's a tough question.. Rift is without doubt a 'AAA' title. it's obvious from the moment you load up the game that an enormous amount of effort and polish has gone into it's creation. the Soul Tree alone would've been a logistical and balancing nightmare. it's probably one of my most favourite MMo's at the moment, and for good reason. however, it's a *lot* different to DCUO (which was designed with console players in mind) and is therefore more 'action' orientated..
@kohlner absolutely. like many others have said, it's probably one of the best MMO's i've played in the last 5 years. they've basically taken all of the great aspects found in other MMO's and implemented them into Rift, which is no bad thing.
When you sell stuff to a NPC vendor look for the little icon at the bottom right corner of the menu near where your gold is, there's the option there to sell all your grey stuff at once.
I hope you have seen Zombieland by now. Awesome movie
