Madonna has played in over 85 shows in more than 30 countries around the world to a crowd more than 3.5 million people, her Sweet and Sticky tour is the SECOND highest world tour EVER!!! making more than $408 million. I would love Celine Dion to even come close to that...ohh that's right She couldn't even if she wanted to because there is NO ONE like MADONNA! She did only the largest stadiums all across Europe holding three times more people than the arenas Celine performed in , Celine kept her shows in small arenas where she had the best possible acoustics, but Madonna cared only about numbers. And to make it worse Madonna's ticket prices were three times Celine's, & Madonna played with int'l Techno DJ's to get the people in the door. cheater!

Let me remind you of people like Rihanna, Mariah Carey who play small arenas and sometimes have to cancel gigs b/c of low ticket sales. And just for the record: Madonna played arenas in the USA, except the Dolphin stadium in Miami. But most shows in Europe and South America were done in stadiums.

But it is Madonna's tour that became the top grossing tour ever done by a solo artist. The fact that she can play sold out arenas or stadiums charging the most expensive tickets in show-business (while other big names can't even sell out a small arena) is the real proof of her success.
