This game is amazing, I just wish it had gameplay mechanics like Garou MOTW, the gameplay is still great though.

Hopefully a sequel will continue the story and a company can take evoga and noise factory's place.

Noise Factory did some of the best music for SNK. This game, plus Sengoku 3 are pure fact of it.

Even though I never played it, I love the fact that this game plays direct homage to Double Dragon. Though certain details between Billy and Jimmy were switched (i.e.- Billy was the older brother, he specialized in punches, and was the boyfriend of Mariah(Marian)) the game is still friggin' awesome!!!

It's actually different characters. They couldn't obtain the rights for Double Dragon so the developers had to rename the game and slightly alter the characters.

@JIMPACHRAL I just read up on this game, those are not Billy and Jimmy Lee from the Double Dragon games (these characters are named Billy and Jimmy Lewis) but they were originally planned to be the Lee brothers. This game was supposed to be a Double Dragon fighting game, but they were unable to get the rights to do so.

@JIMPACHRAL Actually, these are based on the characters from Double Dragon, unfortunately Evoga was never able to obtain the intellectual property rights. Also there are several references to Double Dragon. Damn shame, this would've been a great sequel.

I tried using winkawaks on my windows Vista computer. also were do you get the roms. the emulator I use starts but the roms I get from romhustler do not seem to registar whenever I have it scan for game roms. thank you for your time.

Put it this way, the games play the same way it's just the carts are on more of the collectible side, if you don't want to dish out so much money the converter route is a good option, you will not be dissapointed they are quite popular and anyone reading this thinking about getting one it's worth every penny I have two 1 for my JAP and 1 for english

It's a fantastic fighter, but I wish they had just used the exact same sprites to make a Final Fight style beat-em up, like the original Double Dragon. I wonder if anyone has done a beats of rage like that?

in the how to play tutorial, does ANYBODY know how to do the surrender partner technique in 1:20 because it says keep pressing A+B+C+D and thats what i litterally do and no luck. i've been trying to get this to work since the game came out on emulator years ago.

i dont know if your suppose to pick the right corresponding partners for a team or is it with any character or it has to be the same health per both characters like in the how to play tutorial in 1:20.

i just dont know, any ides.

It's until now that it occurred to me to search for this game in the channel, I've always wanted to watch all the later levels.

See, the gameplay looks way too complicated for the casual gamer and I'm also not too fond of one-on-one fighters, but as this game has excellent production values and was going to be an installment of one of my all time favorite game series, Double Dragon, I knew I had to watch a complete run of the game someday. :)

but after seen what they did to K9999, since the game is mainly based on Double Dragon, I don´t think they have interest on this, too bad

Most people who thought SNK bought the Fighter's History franchise actually misunderstood. SNK and G-Mode were working together on an uncanon cross-over cell phone game, Garou Densetsu VS. For Arcade games it's all about credits so you don't have to use states just add lots of credits and keep on fighting and edit it down into your winning turns in a video editor.
