Don't be jealous. The 4.0 is a great engine. i know it doesn't perform as well, is the same weight, and gets the same gas mileage, but get a stroker kit and it will be amazing. Friend of mine has one in his wj and his kicks the shit out of mine all day long. Mine is also a 4.0 and his is stroked to 4.6

@reaperofevil666 Thanks, I built the bumpers. I also just built Frt. Long Arms that are now on my ZJ. NO more 5.2L, Now have a New mild built 5.9L Heads and a Cam, SCT PCM Tunes.

@Th3B1ackDeath Yea I have a 4.0 also and want a V8 but the V8's aren't nearly as reliable as the inline 6's. My motor is the original and it has over 300k miles and stills has good power. But I am a V8 guy at heart, nothing like the sound of a V8 chewing through a mud hole...

@moparmaniac21 Honestly, they're both great engines. The 318 is a legendary motor when it comes to powering just about everything Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth had, reliably.

Flowmaster Super 40, No Cat. I have a mild built 5.9L in my ZJ now and it sounds mean.

Everybody keeps saying flowmaster so I guess Ill give it a try. I put one on my Dakota and it was raspy. Yours sounds badass though. Thanks for the advvice

Take the Cat. Conv. off and use F/M Super 40 it will sound just like mine did when I had the 5.2L.

The only problem with that is Im in Pa and we get emissions once a year. I might just hollow it out and see how it sounds. I went through hell getting the Dakota to where I wanted it. Ill post a vid when I get finished. Good job on the bumpers also. Im getting ready to mock something up at work. Thanks
