this one is my fav of all your vids greg... for 2 reasons..... that LP it´s identical to mine.... it seems to be he same guitar, except for the headstock binding. But the flame, the top.... is the same. Second. I love what u do with this backing track. You must record this. It´s beautiful. Brilliant improvisation. You can see all the variatios in tone, from the sweet N HH lows to the howling B HH of this beautiful guitar named gibson les paul.
Mesmerizing melody and lead phrasing. Do you have this on a CD? What is the backing track? There are musicians and then there are those musicians that play from the heart and feeling. Well done....
This one is mi fav of all you r videos man. First because I really love what you play here... I used to impro on E till death over this one. It´s improvised? second, this axe is almost identical to my LP. Third, what amazing tone after 2:05. I´ve only got a fender amp. No pedals. I want one but I don´t know which one. For this kind of sound (I know, first the player...) what kind of pedal could work? speaking of basic ones..
@musicmaste1956 Thanks! Yeah, I know, but there are two factors that it lacks 1. tone is not so smooth, rich and mellow at the same time 2. it is red and I prefer brown instead. Cheers Man!
@musicmaste1956 You are really lucky! I was serious about buying this guitar but you were few hours faster. Anyway, if you will consider to sell this guitar, drop me a note. I am seriously interested. Cheers and good luck! Yeah, and if you can find possibility, post some vids with you and this baby.
I agree with you Igotbadjoints there is certain economy that is very common for great players. it always was in providing that right tone in perfect moment, and it was never in providing 100 tones in one second. Gregs is great guitarist.
it's really nice to hear a guitar without the use of a pedal Greg. I jam along with your videos all the time. I use a 59 Fender Bassman (not reissue) and we sound really quite good together. haha
ok i have to post again because the first one was just as i started watching, but now that im through the video.... what a jem....honestly the back half of this video has so much soul and feel to it....man greg, your vids get better with every one!!!! you should hold shows of just what your doing....put 30 guitars behind you and just rip the crap out of all of them....love to see you live! bravo!!!
@DoubleBarrelGuitar because I'm sure he has ones 10x this awesome in his personal collection. Like the original 59 LP i saw him playing in some concert on youtube. :P
Their`s a certain economy in Gregs playing that you see in only the best players, the tone is in his fingers. I need you as a tutor Greg, but I`m just as happy to listen....
Great Playing....Thanks. I would also like that Guitar....Hmmmfff
@Igotbadjoints you're right economy is the way as opposed to all those shredders. We have got Clapton,Knopfler BB King and many others.Feeling will live on.
when i hear this i just want this guitar so bad!

Very nice playing man. Slow and Sweet, with just the right amount of speed bursts, just how I like my solos

What pickups are you using. The stock pickups are 57 classics but without covers.
