  • i wanna buy a kinect for this :D

  • he said only ? dafuq that guy is crazy that's for sure!

  • woooowwww....

  • Okay ipisoft guys..., congrats, we can all see it works quite well!!! Good work!!! Now..., Can someone put a real actor in front of this mocap rig and have them act out an actual scene with some range of emotions?????? I don't care as much about the obvious big movements..., I want to see the subtle movements in context of a scene- audio is optional

  • Please please please some one make a video using this!

  • @EVLG Hi, Visit my channel and you will see very comprehensive set of Truorials Regarding iPi

  • @EVLG its in the works as we speak. look for it soon "Silent Knights". We are using this software as well as bonyface to create a full length motion picture. We will be dropping the trailer here on youtube as well as facebook very very soon and we are excited!!!

  • very nice indeed

  • Using this with a hmd, you can also then link two or more people into the same virtual space. Great for conference calls and games (fighting games?). Possible to capture higher definition (such as facial movement?) or would you need a type of HD kinect camera for that?

  • Awesome work. Any plans to combine this real time body mapping with a hmd (like the Sony hmz t1) and output a first person view in 3d to the goggles? Then we are approaching proper VR.

  • would be possible for you to make a tutorial about your setup?

  • btw i read about the stiffness of the legs

come on guys, these people make it possible to work on affordable motioncapture solutions.

if you don't like it - buy the pro hardware - which cost as good as a new BMW

  • Love the rotations :)

  • This is actually the only thing Kinect is good for now.

  • @Kepxa only? hahaha

  • @Kepxa

This and modeling the interiors of caves for reconnaissance and rescue. The kinect has a lot of uses. Really good cancer-curing-caliber uses... just not a gaming peripheral :s

  • Nice now @maxofs2d buy me a second Kinect

  • Nice to see it doesn't seem to have too many problems with occlusion, but the legs seem too stiff
