yeah, the fangirls piss me off sometimes too, but the way you are talking about Hizaki is this: "He sucks because X is better and Y will kick his assl" I personally enjoy his solos, regardless of what anyone thinks. Sure, each song follows a particular "formula" and isn't musically challenging. But hey, people have to make money, and mainstream is the way. Everyone is fucking influenced by dream theater anyways, as they are true gods.

Especially in Hizaki's latest compositions with Versailles, his style tends to be much more classical in nature than other bands who call themselves "neo-classical"; they really seem to fall more under the category of prog-rock. Again, I find Japanese artists tend to lend more personality to their solos, which in turn makes the solos much more enjoyable and memorable.

@XschindlerX beh its not really worth it, I`ll be quite honest, it just really pisses me off when people put japanese bands as"something more"then band from the west, its like, for example, Equilibrium-mana" thats a fucking 16 min filmscore/metal/classical song and it's made by a viking metal band, hizaki's got nothing compared yo that and its not even a neo classical band, before saying hizaki rules people should fucking look up whats out there.

Did you ever stop to think that people just like his particular style? There are at least a thousand better guitarists, but Hizaki Grace Project's songs are very gloomy, as opposed to those major power metal sounding bands, which i dislike.. The fact that he dresses like a girl has nothing to do with how his music sounds.
