When you sell your car, make sure you go do a 150 Area inspection. Get a print out for the buyer. The mechanic will list what's wrong with the car. Do a Car History report so the person buying would know what's goin on. Tell them what's wrong with the car that you and the mechanic went over. Answer their questions.
"May the best car win" hmmmmmm took billions of tax payer money, still went bankrupt, one of the few companies that could not pay back the money, huge layoffs down sizing while Toyota, Subaru, and Honda are the fastest gowning companies in America, Ford did not borrow a cent, ford showing huge gains in the last 2 quarters, ...........should i keep going on "may the best car win" unless you're comparing the cars to the biggest failures in history
What the commercial means is that Toyota's ad said they were "The most fuel-efficient full-line automaker in America". Yes, the Prius is more fuel-efficient, no doubt. But it's the full lineup they were considering when the ad was produced.
@ DarkCrystalis & ChrisBennett18: The difference is that the Camry CAN manage 33 highway MPG, but with a manual trans. only. You'd be surprised how painful it is to shift for a lot of people. Hence a likely reason for the new Malibu's success.
Their website says they do original pieces for commercials, but that 3-3 note piece right before he starts talking sounds soooo familiar. Almost sure its from an 80s movie soundtrack.. not saying they stole it but man I wish i could remember which movie it was from
If there's a difference, it may also be in the price. If you found the Chevy was 1mpg more than the Toyota, but that the Chevy was $5,000 less, I think it's no contest. In addition, the reason they put this commercial out is because Toyota claims to be the "BEST" in fuel efficiency, but this commercial clearly proves that that isn't the case. As a final note, an extra mile doesn't sound like much, but for people like my boyfriend that drive thousands and thousands of miles a year, it adds up.
Why are there more dislikes than likes????????????

@wizardry007 - It might be the Escape from New York soundtrack, with the main theme by John Carpenter
