@SarahV He uses white musicians 90% of the time. Just look at his discography. He even stole Marshall Allens way of playing sax. This is very lame music. Actually very redundant. Go back 40 years and look at Zappa,The Art Ensemble of Chicago, Sun Ra,George Russell. Peter Giger and Drum Circus etc. This is very weak music. I've seen Zorn live enough times and it just doesn't impress me like it does you. He gets to much credit for what has already been done.

@mohomoho1 I guess I'm not racist enough to care what color his musicians are. :-/ Whatever. I don't expect or want everyone to like the same music as me. 99% of the population would say there is better music out there than this. I would respectfully suggest that your time would best be used by listening to the music you love, and not posting negative comments on youtube about music you don't appreciate.

@mohomoho1 Yeah I don't really understand your point. Music is a lot about imitation, but even then it's ridiculous to say that Zorn isn't original or that he gets credit for what has been done, especially if you've seen him live so many times. His filmworks are great, and I love that this track is like Harmann's Taxi Driver feel to it (but Hermann is lame music too, definitely). I don't see why this is lame music at all, I love Sun Ra, Zappa, etc. but it's not the same as this. It's good, too.
