it's funny how people love to point fingers and call MLMs pyramid schemes... yet take any retail store or bank and tell me if THAT is not a true pyramid scheme!!!
Usana rocks coz it works. I am proud to share Dr Myron Wentz's vision: love life and live it to its fullest in happiness and health.
My family has been on Usana's Essential and Usanimals (for my kids) for a year now. What is evidently true is that, after taking Usana supplements, our trips to the medical clinic has reduced from once a month, to twice in these past 12 months !
I know this company,i have used its stuff and it works, the way they make money from people selling these products are not even suggested as any "scheme" by anyone who knows anything about this company, that simple, anyone who thinks differently hasn't even bothered to check if this is the truth or not or its either hear say by people with nothing better to do or just lairs, its a good company that sells very good products.
Your "facts" sound to me like a typical case of good old U.S. of A blind stupidity coupled with a rigid sense of your own correctness. OK, PROVE to me that USANA is a pyramid scheme. Where are your FACTS? As pyramid schemes are ILLEGAL (you got that, did you? ILLEGAL) why are the executives of the company still fucking walking around, you half wit?
I suppose having a sense of correctness is a lot worse than emotional name calling. But ad hominem nonsense aside, I can prove that USANA is not legit. Do this: search ebay for USANA. Do you see how much these products cost? A LOT less than the distributor price. Why does USANA overcharge their distributors? Because these distributors are paying for a business opportunity. That, my friend, is the definition of a pyramid scheme.
This statement must take into consideration some other factors:
I can't speak on behalf of USANA or its Corporate Body, however USANA tries as much as they can to bring ethics back into business by 'fair play' through policy.
But HOW could it be that an associate purchase a product and sell it for cheaper?
As we know, ALL authentic products purchased must originate from the manufacturer USANA, however, since the company operates in 15 different countries, the currency from which the seller purchases their product from will vary
Eg. If Bob purchases products from USANA Malaysia at $2 since it is cheaper than USANA U.S rrp of $3, and brings it back to the U.S and resells it at $1 then this is made possible, yet USANA has breached no ethical standards nor does it mean it becomes a pyramid scheme
@KarKui And do you think that switching between the markets is how business is done in USANA? That's how you explain where their money is coming from? No! It's coming from the distributors, 89% of it, and most of it is just to pay their requirement.
Too bad I can't say anything bad about people from Finland. I guess the American media considers your country too unimportant to even create any negative stereotypes. But thanks to the wonder of the internet, people like you can spread bad reputations for your respective countries just fine.
@thereisawar Tell it to Bernie Madoff who walked around a lot longer than USANA execs. Here's a fact: nearly 89% of USANA's sales are distributors buying their REQUIRED purchase. Now lets see you prove something instead of calling people half wits. (I guess its directed at me, even though you didn't reply properly)
Er, actually, no. USANA products are distributed by network marketing. Pyramid schemes are illegal. Please get your facts straight before you post comments about things you do not seem to understand.
Please, do not attempt to degrade my credibility. I know my facts very well, but it seems like you may be misinformed. Pyramid schemes can have a product. That doesn't change a thing.

Hi, I expect the word you were struggling for is "deride". As in, "deride my credibility".
Wouldn't dream of it, mate. You do a pretty good job of that yourself. Of couse pyramid schemes can have a product. So what? MLM network marketng isn't pyramid selling. MLM networking can be, depending on the specific bonus details, a very good way for people who are interested to supplement their income or even earn a good living. I know very many people who do just that, with a variety of MLM systems.
Usana is the best people out there throwing bad comments about it haven't heard it from a professional i would know i work for them. Anyone out there willing to challenge or abuse usana like that bring it on.
Perhaps it would be worthwhile for you to review the materials Usana has available, as well as many credible individuals that support Usana as a company, prior to making defamatory remarks.
Just as national, regional, and local distribution companies exist to distribute products (for profit), adding much overhead to the cost of the end product to the consumer. Direct distributing, eliminates much of the overhead incurred by distribution companies, and adds value to end user, in the form of education.

Rot in hell all you USANA associates who know this and try to "help others out." You're only in this for your own financial gain. None of you care about anyone else.

@UsanaReport
USANA's Policy and Procedure Section 3.5 states:
Associates may display and retail USANA products in commercial outlets
where professional services are the primary source of revenue and product
sales are secondary. Approved service-oriented establishments may
include (but are not limited to) health spas, beauty shops, and physicians
and chiropractors offices.
KarKui 1 year ago
It is a violation of this policy to knowingly be part of any
scheme whereby an Associate provides product to a third party who then
offers the product for resale in any unapproved retail-oriented establishment.
Associates are contracted to sell products directly to end consumers, not
wholesale them to third party retail outlets
