@jeremygdouylliez, acting for the stage is different than acting for movies. There are no close ups, obviously, and you need a whole audience of people to be able to understand your emotions and actions. Since not everyone is sitting close enough to see the actors's faces, they have to be extreme to be clear to everyone there who paid to see the production. There's no room for subtlety on stage; less is just less.

@sprickles You are completely wrong my friend - there is always room for SUBTLETY on stage. You have to find a balance between reaching the audience at the back of the theatre and being realistic and sincere. These guys have definitely not found that balance I'm afraid. Sincerely, a professional actor ;-)
