@FollowtheLight16 Camtasia is an editing software and it's also a recording software, it's basically an all-in one software. You can't record your TV with Camtasia. To record your TV you will need a capture card.

Camtasia is more advanced for Mac. Windows you can do the same thing. For Mac it is way more easier. The Features are also good.
