@hl2ep3 well in fact what i mean is that the 3d engine of Crysis is very good, and so this would have be cool to see closed and urban maps in Crysis 1. Until now I really which to see how good Crysis 1 solo would be with urban or closed maps, with all the dynamic light and all.

I think that the devs in Crysis 1 abused of the jungle but I hope that they will not abuse with only urban maps in Crysis 2...

nope, u must start the game with the shorcut of crysis on your desktop, adding the "-devmode 1" command at the end of the target location of the exe, Then ingame press F1 and u got the 3rd person view.

Also u can download the G.O.C. mod wich include 3rd person view and slow motion on the nanosuit

is it just me or does it lagg like 25fps very high with 1680x1050 of course but i do get quite good fps but when i look at mountain drops down to like 25-20 min but must be because of all of the polygons rendering i guess. It may be why the core i7 has an upper hand in that shit

If you're able to overclock your CPU, you'll be more than set to play Crysis maxed out(minus maxed AA)...

Otherwise, it'll still run great maxed, but in big fights, with lots of AI on screen, explosions and whatnot, you'll see some dips here and there..

The 9500GT isnt even made for gaming number one, and the P4 is ancient... You'll be lucky if you get Crysis to run playable at the lowest settings..

Well, look at it this way... ANY modern GPU you get will be SEVERELY bottlenecked by your P4, your low amount of ram, and your motherboard..

I would recommend building a brand new PC, rather than throwing a new graphics card into a computer that will bottleneck it...

That PC you have is very outdated.. Dont bother upgrading right now... Especially not for one game... Crysis is a great game, but no game is worth upgrading for...

This looks 90% like Austria, to where I've been in Summer 2007 and this map is the best I've ever seen on self-made-ones ! One question: Can I also play it without Editor by just starting the game and choose map in Multiplayer mode or something ?

You can load it by the console. Just open the console, and type Map Resort. It should start loading...

Austria must be a beatyfull country if its similar to this level :)

I turned off Parallax Oclussion Mapping, it makes the ground textures with incredible bump, but makes the mid/far range terrain too blurry, so i prefeer deactivate that option and use x16 Anysotrophic Filtering. Thnx for comments ;)
