Actually, this is Ray Boltz's version of the song from his CD "The Classics" where he pays tribute to beautiful songs by various artists - including this one originally written by Rich Mullins. This is my favorite version because of the percussion (and perhaps because I also got to be a part of a mime piece to it before the CD was even released)! :D

Definitely not Jars of Clay. Even if it were to be them, they would make this sound a lot different (most likely better, as far as music is concerned).
Not saying this song is bad, it's as awesome as ever.

I don't think this is Jars. It doesn't sound like Dan Haseltine singing. Sounds more like (the late) Rich Mullins, who originally wrote this...
