Why is it as the "markets" aka Wall Street does well, Main Street and the 3rd world for that matter suffers? Maybe the hippie (who knows a more than you or I about economics, you should read some of his books) knows something about why that is.
The Hippies were right. The Establishment, the power relationships that control our lives, were and still are in drastic need of replacement so our nation's productive potential is used rationally and morally. The Hippies were ridiculed and then dismissed in 1970 by our corrupt commercial media as merely a 60's thing, but from 1970 on wealth shifted hugely to the richest 1 % from the rest of us, with spending power of wages continuously heading down. Oh dear Gary, wise up, see green, get hip!
At last, Listen close folks...This is how you make 60 Trillion in Bogus and Bad Credit Default Swap (CDS), 4X our USA GDP estimated 14.3 Trillion for 2008 just disappear... KILL THE FED, abolish the Federal Reserve Bank or take away their ability to print money and have the Government go back into the coin business again .
