  • We love this listening as we drive though the countryside...we know every note! She plays it best!

  • Hearing this work is a revelation... and it has brought me to tears.

  • This is the recording that we own and listened to all summer. We like the way she plays it best. She is lovely in her interpretation.

  • 西崎崇子演奏《梁祝》,

    优雅乐曲听了舒服,

    身心平衡病痛祛除,

    音乐疗法功效特殊。

  • So beautiful, Takako Nishizaki's interpretation captures the essence of the piece. When you listen, she transform the violin into the eerie sounding Erhu.

  • I always think Ms. Nishizaki's version is the best performance for this great violin concerto. Would you please upload the completed CD for all of us? Thanks!

  • well, most performer of this piece do not understand chinese art and chinese music, though many of them are chinese themselves. The aesthetic root of chinese music is that of Daoist naturalistic philosophy, in this case the manefestation is that the theme melody carries entirely different meaning in the first and the seceond time through. The first time it is the dipiction of a lovely festival, with lovers viewing flower, etc, the air carries a fragrence of romance and warmth.

  • and second time through it tells of a totally different story, a haunting beautiful yet tragic romance, it is much heavier and darker and yet moving story with a promise of transcendence. This piece carries the Soul of chinese art and philosophy.

  • @jimmyjamesWang Two simple reasons about her intrepretations of this piece of classic. She is Asian and she is a woman. Need I say more?

  • Excellent performance.
