Honestly, I'd be a little freaked out to fly a heli- because when you ahve to go forward you go almost what like, 50 degrees vertical!!!!! Crazy man! Haha

lol either the pilot is a giant or the apache is rly small. but you sit allot lower in a real apache. take the apache from arma2 operation arrowhead. its the most realistic apache if seen so far in any game. in both size and detail.

hmmmmm what happened at 5:21 should have happened 10 times in the first minute only. But hey, this is an environment friendly chopper, it just passes through trees, bushes and objets without touching them.

The sound in this game is deadening... its so repetitive, in all the helicopters that ive been in Ive never heard one continuous repetitive sound like that before.

I'd have to switch that off after a while..

Trackir is wicked though... Ive just got a trackir 5 woohoo..

Oh and i love the idea of the big maps.. thats cool, although they dont look very detailed

erm , no the software should take any graphics card , from all ive seen is that the game will run smoothly on any format of graphics also talking from my experience.

Depends on your definition of smooth *eek*

It´ll certainly run on most low end PC´s (like my old one on which this video was taken), but the real fun starts only with a proper graphics card - say 8800 upwards - and dual core cpu with at least 2.66ghz

A fast CPU is important for AI intense missions - and ArmA has alot of them.

In this vid i was alone with one AI, meaning it´s not suitable for any performance comparison.

It is a very realistic combat simulator for things like soldiers but it is not a good flight sim as you can can see

Magic you are correct, I downloaded the Apache mod, fantastic, and it is indeed just when because you are so close to the ground, makes it look faster.

Nice piloting, I myself am a rather good pilot. I wonder though, does the Apache go faster than usual helicopters? Or do you have the video sped up?

Looking at the HUD tells me that AH64 isn´t faster than MH6 ingame .. must be a mis-impression with the ground rushing by so close :D

Yeah, the entire game is one huge map that's approximately 400 square miles in size.

this appears it was sped up.. watching the speed the ground doesnt go by that fast at 160... atleast not in my arma
