  • @watcherwatcher2 you should really investigate the Russian soviet genocide of Ukraine, the many millions of innocent murders of Poles ( who Stalin hated because they stopped his westward march of communism) and Ukrainians. You are most disgusting wretch and you call yourself Russian - you are a piece of dumb commie snot grass still whimpering about you failed ex commie home land - not you or any one can now stop Russia's slow decline as an empire it is f....d and so are you

  • @majorgeeek

    LOL! Loosing temper Nazi bitch?

  • @majorgeeek

Never was a Communist and no one in my family! What about yours(???)

Stalin was a murderer - RUSSIANS being majority of his victims!

As far as Poles - why don't you go to Poland and wear UPA Nazi uniform in the street like you still dare to do in Western Ukraine? You might get lucky - they will arrest and deport you before someone kills you.

  • @watcherwatcher2 typical neo-fascist commie you should investigate you own stinking back yard especially the Russian genocide and mass murders of millions of innocent Ukrainians - oh that right - you side with Russian terrorism and pretend you hate Stalin and pretend the genocide did not occur

  • next RT should probably investigate why in all of russia where 8 + million ethnic ukrainians live, there is not a SINGLE ukrainian school or newspaper, or how come Kuban( oblast in russia) was 62% ukainian speaking in beginning of the 30s and today is <1% ukainian speaking, if we are such "brotherly" nations then why dont you just speak our brotherly language

  • @watcherwatcher2 If you want to know something true about UPA try reading book " We fraught for Ukraine" (its writen by a jewish UPA veteran about his experience) The only Ukranian Holocaust i know of is the one created by stalin. maybe RT should look into that and also heres a real russian patriot -->/watch?v=lX5jXWiihtc

  • simple - the movie should be shown in Ukraine's official language Ukrainian - the Russian argument is purely political exercise since most Ukrainians understand Ukrainian as well as Russian - sister languages - the Russians are crying since the tables have turned on them - at least Ukrainians are not mass murdering Russians the way they murdered Ukrainians under Stalin

  • hear hear!!

  • good luck russian minorities !

  • btw "Yushenko = Adolf ?" LOL

  • Go Ukraine! although i like russians, it's all about your cultural ID - taken away from the russians during the soviet times.

  • English is the second language in Ukraine now??? Since when ukrainian grandmas spoke English?

  • Annoying host. ....what's wrong with her? Europian Ukraine failed to translate movies into their language. What a great and powerful country it must be!!!!

  • I was told often that there is no difference between russian an ukrainian as long as you speak russian. Now i am telling you russians that there is no difference as long as you speak ukrainian

  • По-моему тут всё просто. Люди выразят своё отношение рублём, то есть гривной. Есть ли правдивые данные об изменении в количестве продаваемых билетов/ДВД после этого указа?

  • Ukraine was officially (albeit forcefully) Russian speaking country until independance in 1991 when Ukrainian was made official language. So many who live in Ukraine (especially east) are Russian and still only speak Russian. But this would be like if the US decided to have cinemas show films dubbed in Spanish too, second most popular language in US. I think it makes sense to only have one language be official. Especially for Ukraine, reestablishing cultural Identity since Soviet rule is over.

  • what the fuck are you talking about? official languages in ukraine were russian AND ukrainian under soviet union. i grew up and lived there and still do.. people like you spread hate towards other nationalities because of your own fear.. although i agree that movies should be dubbed in Ukrainian, i disapprove your nonsense bullshit statement.

  • planchik - the soviets spread hatred and fear, mass murdered millions of innocent Ukrainians, tried to destroy Ukraine's culture and banned Ukrainian language during their hegemoniuos occupation of Ukraine - officiating Russian language in Ukraine is total nonsense and political motivation since the two languages are mutually recognisable by their common roots. This is a move perpetuated by Russian nationals like yourself in order to continue in attempts to dominate over Ukraine.

  • this is kinda funny..Im Ukrainian but i speak Russian..But i agree that if its in Ukraine it should be in Ukrainian...its actully a beautiful language..

  • French cinemas in France have foreign films dubbed in French; Italian cinemas in Italian; Spanish cinemas have films dubbed in Spanish. Poland is the same. Yet when it comes to Ukraine the malorossy-yanichary and the Russians in Russia have to make a stink and a political issue out of it. 17 years of independent Ukraine and the ridna mova is still being persecuted.

  • Well written, If you want films in russian go to Russia

  • Well written, If you want films in russian go to Russia

  • The first poster is ignorant. if anyone is equivalent to hitler that would be stalin and I would have to guess that stalin's lineage is closer to yours than Yushchenko.

  • correction: the above comment was directed towards 'mojushai'. the post below.

  • That was an ignorant comment!! You do not understand, that there was 70 years of russification in Ukraine where the language and its institutions were destroyed. Russian is considered a foreign language in Ukraine

  • Your not missing out on much. "I Am Legend" sucked anyway. Read the book, it's much better.

  • Vladimir Plautov represents the Russians that were sent to Ukraine after the Holodomor, no wonder he prefers Russian. Thanks to Stalin and his thugs no Ukrainians were left in the east.

  • What is the problem? Russia has movies with Russian translation, and Ukraine will have with Ukrainian. It is so simple.

    Every country has own language.

  • Russians have trouble with this concept. They enjoyed the soviet times where russian prevailed.

  • with the stuff coming out of Hollywood lately they have not been missing much.

  • What is the problem, Ukrainian in Ukraine and Russian for Russia

  • Let the viewer demand decide. Not the government. If people do not want to watch it in Russian, they wont. And the distributors will have no choice but to do it in Ukrainian. It´s simple.

Everyone speaks Russian. I don´t see what the big deal is.

In Russia if you wont to release it in freaking Chinese no one will stop you.

  • Are there any films using the Ukrainian language in Russia/ There are many Ukrainians living in Russia

  • the announcer has such an irritating voice

  • nice try to distract from the content, uke.

  • How big is difference between Russian and Ukrainian?

  • Ukrainian is the most close language to Russian after Belarussian. I never taught Ukrainian but easily understand more than 90% of it when reading and more than 50% when listening.

  • Like Spanish and Italian

  • Like Spanish and Italian

  • its not so much the difference. Ukrainians were pretty much prohibited from speaking their own language when Soviets ruled Ukraine. Ukrainian was not taught in the schools and books and all media was in Russian. Ukrainian was only spoken at home in private. So now that Ukraine is an independant nation again, they want to reestablish their national identity by having TV, Radio, and movies all in the Ukrainian language. There are lingering hard feelings, and rightfully so...

  • i get your point

  • @Triska3 RUSSIA TODAY = RUSSIAN PROPAGONDA

  • lol
