he's playing octaves... the first sequence is E, A, Aflat, A and that little run he plays is A, B, C into the second sequence which is D, C, B, A.. the part where the melody slows down is alternating E and A notes and alternating E and Aflat notes

you dont need notes just look at the first note he plays in his right hand and play what you know of the song from there. left hand just likes like 5th or 6th intervals based on the note in the right hand,

I just found out, the theme from tetris was actually written years and years ago, it is a Russian Folk song called korobeiniki, They share the same exact tune, just one has lyrics
