I'm trying to be sympathetic on this issue, but when Britain stood against the Nazis the government didnt have women arrested and whipped for saying things against the war effort. While I disagree with teh war in Iraq, I do not see that whipping women for wearing trousers will do anything but be used be US war hawks as propaganda to be used against Sudan. Plz read my previous post again, I reminded you that we as a nation have different beliefs and way of living, we do not name pets after religious figures, the English teacher in Sudan needed to respect the culture if she was to be welcome there just like Sudanese nationals are expected to if they live in England. Thanks for your assurances about a possible Sudan invasion, but unless you are a neocon or work for the Pentagon, they don't make feel better, Sudan WILL be invaded.

I want to remind you that Britain imprisoned, encamped and interned thousands of Irish, German and Italian nationals living in the UK without trial or warrant during World Wars 1 and 2. Even more, during the Mau Mau rebellion in Kenya (1956 - 1960) Britain imprisoned the entire Kikuyo tribe with a population of 1.5 millions in concentration camps!!! 40 lashes for a woman who is known to be a spy is a slap on the wrist. Thousands of Sudanese women wear trousers with no problem.

I want to remind u tht the Queen of England just as Hilary Clinton n Larry Silverstein all belong to a powerful elite n tht many of us know this. I even stannd for 911truth BUT NONE of this changes anything in regards to your treatment of women which cannot be tolerated by any means. Dude, know the facts before you jump to conclusions. Thousands of women wear pants in Sudan with no problem, and have all the rights in the world that even Western women would envy them for. This particular woman is a spy for the Western elite you talk about who want to turn the clock back and re-colonize Sudan. Ask yourself why did the corporate-owned media reserves all this air time for her story? It's propaganda that will be used to invade and exploit Sudan, simple!

BUT DO THEY have the right according to shariah law? Apparently not at least according to some "scholars" and in "islam" there is no "khalifa" at this time so any imam can decide what he wants and overall their decisions have been BS but theyre all derived from religious doctrine. NOW just look at the Taliban. they r praised by many masjids even in Paksiatn to be the best example of following the Sunnah. look at how they beat women shld they not wear hijab.
