Hey, what's with the traditional characters? Real Chinese people write in simplifed and right to left... I first learned traditional, but I can read more in Simplified now. I hope to go back and learn them all in traditional (where they aren't the same, obviously). I hadn't seen the characters for "autism" before. Ni3 xie3 zi, bu2 cuo4.
Many real Chinese people write like I do depending on the country they are from. I can read a lot of simplified but writing it requires more effort as I learned traditional about 17 years ago. I'd like to learn more simplified. Thanks for the compliment. xie4 xie4 ni3. wo3 bing4 mei3 you3 ne4 ma5 hau3.
:-) Many older Taiwanese people find the simplified characters offensive, from what I understand. They think of them as "communist writing." It's good to be able to read and write both, if possible.
It's classical romanticism I think and human nature to resist new in light of a lifetime of another. I recall that the intents of the new writing system was to erase old culture, hence cultural revolution. I agree r/w both is best. Judy's from Taiwan. It's a very beautiful and easy place to live now compared to exile/martial law days.
wow nice job on the chinese characters (i hope it's chinese)...i find that those characters take a long time to write, so many strange dashes and curves, they better represent a word or several ideas rather than a letter
Is there a correllation with head size? Anyway, its nice to see that not all aspies are asexual like me. Judging from the aspies I've met, I'd say its maybe 50%.
