Does drifting not get boring after a while? Surely there is only so many times you can watch a guy go sideways? "Oh wow, he held that drift a moment longer than that last guy".

At least with racing you never know what is going to happen and every race is different. How is this entertaining to watch for more than a few minutes?

Merely implying that every drifting session isn't different is some hardcore ignorance. If you look at things that way, everything is boring. "Oh hey, that guy beat the guy that won the race last time by a moment, yawn," for example.

You never know what will happen with anything in life, and drifting is no exception to that unwritten law and I'm pretty sure its best to try both racing and drifting yourself (or at least riding along) before you cast judgement on either.

But please people dont try that in your "normal" cars. Drift requires lots of changes to the car. A special setup is needed so that a car would be able to do it.
