We had to do a report on the Olympics and track who won each event in my fourth grade Language Arts class. No problem for me as I've been a fan of he Games and all the competing sports since i was four. So i remember sitting in the living room with my mother, and during the commercial break my mom said, "Watch this heffa claim her skate is broken or something." And when it happened, I was like whoa! We'd been following the story avidly and I was a Kerrigan fan. These were the days!

Tonya apparently had absolutely no SHAME whatsoever. After having read more about her, as well as her tendency to make things up for attention, I think we have a woman who has/had an undiagnosed sever mental illness. I mean, you just can't make this shit up. It wasn't about her "upbringing" or what not, it was about the fact that she seems to just be plain fucked up.

um, Josee Choinard falling had nothing to do with Tonya Harding. By the time she got on the ice it was MAYBE a minute early if even that, the entire Tonya thing took as long as her performance would have been anyway. Even Josee said it didn't effect her, as it shouldn't. These are WORLD CLASS ATHLETES, I think they can handle going on the ice a few seconds early. Please.

what happened to tonya??? she had EVERYTHING going for her in 1991.... and the it literally fell apart!!!! i remember a documentary on her in her teenage years. I guess her upbringing wasnt the greatest and she had a lack of support behind her. It was like a train wreck since 1991, with a glimmer of hope in her 1993 Skate American SP....
