Hardcore in bf3 does suck

I'm a BF fan, but there is a couple of issues that I am have with BF3 and they are:

1- team balance is horrible, if you join a lobby with randoms you will find your self and the worst team always.

2- In BFBC2 I always played hardcore ( no kill cams, more bullet damage and no spotting ), but in BF3 hardcore sucks.

3- In game chat, I can't believe dice came out with one the best game ever and you still are limited to squad chat, it's like having a beautiful woman that doesn't talk.

good upload as always dragon, really enjoying your material. I would like to know your take on jet/chopper play v run & gun? In my opinion I don't like anybody on my team getting in a chopper or jet, I think they are pointless & really don't offer much for a team. Would you rather a person in your squad getting into the nitty gritty with you&friends or a person in the sky? I really don't think they'd offer more than a team playing engineer?

@CJAW86 I think choppers can be extremely useful and deadly. I haven't seen too many very effective jet pilots - not claiming they don't exist. And by effective - I mean helping to control action on the ground. A chopper can do damage to a base - protecting or attacking - taking out armor. But few people ever coordinate to use these tactics. But I like to fly. I don't get upset with what I can't control. All you can do is play your game and let everyone else play theirs.

@CJAW86 i understand that kind of thinking i prefer infantry too(i play alot of metro cuz of it) but man ive come across teams where a guy just knew what he was doing with the choppers and they tear you up and its hard to take them down when they use flares properly, so any vehicle used properly can really do some damage

Whats your favorite Tank Loadout. Im finding the more choices now are making the game as awesome as it is but it makes me want to use one loadout for a long time and play it out or constantly switch around throughout a game, which wastes alot of time

Normal tankshell damage = 22. Side = around 40, back around 55. This ONLY works if you shoot them straight in the back/side. If you shoot them in the back with an angle it only does 22 damage. So strafing = better but just make sure enemy doesnt have a straight shot.

Cont... if you take damage from an enemy tank, before you have hit him -- retreat. Repair your tank. Don't stand your ground & try to be macho, or you will lose more often than not.

I'm in tanks all the time & this is my best advice: flank, flank, flank. Same as when you're on foot, try to get on the side or behind enemy tanks before they even see you. It takes 3-4 to destroy the amtrac 3 on back destroy 3 on side diable.

When placing c4 be ready for infantry jumping out have side arm.

Other tips

Use the tank to hid from other infantry when planting c4

Place c4 on ground like mines as they are more harder to spot and dnt always apear of the mini map (put them in areas where tanks will be moving slowly)

Lastly remember this and u will be a tank eater.

If worst comes to worst and u cant get close enought because of infantry then pull out the good old motar. Aim for the back of the tank its a one shot to disable if u fail to destroy the tank pop smoke in front of him to disoriantate him.

Ok nw the c4 it takes 2-3 to destroy the tank the closer to place them the fewer u need so 2 close destroy 2 far apart disable. Place two c4 on the left of the tank and it kills the driver or gunner (im nt sur

the tank spotts u and is reversing DONT chase the tank its fast run right or left away from the turret and head to cover. After the shell is fired run imdiuntly towards the tank as it reloads straff right or left to avoid the turret and place the c4 and run. Dont do this if he has a gunner run away or hid and let him foget about u or think of it this way the more time he spend trying to kill u the less time hes spending engaing ur team. If u have planted the c4 and have been killed dnt worry u

Tips against tanks (the demos guide):

Be quick, silent and deadly

Watch the enemy look at were the turret and gunner are looking. It doesnt matter where u will place the c4 it has the same effect everywhere.

Get team mates to distract the tank then attack.

If u have a moving tank then attack when its turning around or engaged in battle.

U get close then u may or may not have place the c4 and the tank sees u it will reverse (if a tank if coming head on towards to lay on the ground u will survive

Tips against the demolitionist:

Proximity scan it ok but only effective in open ground.

Dont get tunnel vision when engaged or travailing use 3rd person to get a feel of suroudings and look at mini map

Do push to deep in to enemy area without a bit of infantry support (provide cover and destractions for them and they will pick of the enemy).

If u need to push, Flank odds are u will take them out to let ur team throught or their attention will be on ur and the team can push

Dont stick too close

@TWTHEREDDRAGON the most efficient and fastest way to get rid of a tank is to use my favourite class the support with its C4. In maps with a large tank threat like operation firestorm i destroy tank after tank as they roll in. Maybe ur next vid should be to protect against the magnificent demolitionist

With the recent patch, smoke is awesome to stop javelins. And if my m8 has CITV station is game over

what i find works best with tank, is dont be to over aggresive, slowly push dorward, and if u dont know where the rpg's coming from, get out of there, and come back to get them later

I would love to have a squad with the mentality of "this tank must not die" this video shows you can keep a tank alive with team work. I've done this as gunner, we won the match, i got a freind request and an invite to a ladder. Play aggressivly with a tank, you are needed! please dont snipe/camp with the tank!! Always have a plan of escape! ie. dont cap a flag then realize your stuck on the wall. A tanks mobility can be impresive use this to flank other tanks!! Red Dragon you the man!

Sure i can understand the average viewer has the attentions spam of a dog ( about 5min ) but for me, I like to see full commentary, not have to wait a day or two. @St00ges702 - the tank is only as good as it's gunner. if the gunner doesn't get out and repair fast enough the tank will explode - as seen in the video...

The place and angle you hit the tank directly impacks damage. A direct hit on a tank from behind in a perfect 90 degree angel will do more than 50 damage. Also reactive armor truely enough only protecs from the side and rear.
