You obviously haven't listened to anything before Undoing Ruin, which is one of the best metal albums of the last decade, by the way. Darkest Hour used to be very political (i.e. The Patriot Virus) in their earlier albums, most notably Hidden Hands of a Sadist Nation.

Furthermore, even if that wasn't the case, there is still nothing resembling any emo relationship problems in their recent lyrics.

I played a show with these guys back in 03 at fat cats in houston.And they were on stage preaching poilitcs and i had a shitty day that day and the last thing i wanted to hear at a show i was playing was that bullshit,so when i got on stage i told them that nobody wanted to hear that shit.I think i pissed them off a little,Now that i'm a bit older and have opened up my eyes a bit more i should have shut the hell up and listen to them cause our gov is CROOKED AS HELL.Sorry guys
