HSGI TACO MAGAZINE POUCH MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

So... are people bitching about the pouches themselves or the MALICE system? If it's the PALS on the pouches themselves being super tight, then I can get the point. But if it's just the MALICE... half of the pouches I run are already MALICE - it's not the world's easiest way to mount stuff, but it's helpful.

I love the Taco pouches and the design is bleeding edge but they really need to figure out a better mounting platform. The Tacos in this video are a pain in the ass to mount but after some practice they are not too bad. I recently transitioned from the single rifle Tacos to the Double Tacos and I can say that it is nearly impossible to mount them on a VTAC Brokos belt. I'm using a Endeavor Stitchworks Cobra belt as the inner belt and the Molle is pretty tight Invent a better mousetrap guys!!

i wish it actually had molle straps on the back i dont like that you pay the price of the pouch and then need a secondary item to attach them.

@1stOPFOR They ship with the Molle clips....unless someone boned you and didn't include them.

I cant get the damn thing on.. i have the double decker version. Two rifle pouches stacked.. Im trying to go through two rows of pals. But it seems like my malice clips are too short.. I suck them in so far that when i do get near the clip. the opening of the clip is jammed under the pals on the pouch and i cant get the malice clip to instert.. I must be doing something wrong.. help anyone ?

Just wondering if there were any tips on mounting the tacos to the bridge platform...

It seems that when mounting the taco to the bridge that I can only use one MALICE clip instead of two cause the webbing does not seem to be wide enough to accommodate both MALICE clips. And, when I do weave the MALICE through I am having a bitch of a time snapping it into place. I can't quite get it close enough to snap.

Took me a little over 2 hours to mount the first TACO Single Rifle mag. By the time I got to the fourth one, the time was cut down to 5 minutes. The 2 Pistol TACOs that were also purchased, took less than 2 minutes. Great product and well worth the effort put towards mounting on my vest. Works extremely well with my AK-74 mags. Thanks for the vid!

How well do these work on a low crawl? I ordered ya'lls AO small chest rig, was suppost to come in today but the lady at the PSC on my base isn't very motivated and doesn't come into work on the weekends so can't get it to monday. Anyways, I'm looking at the double decker to add to it, but this will be the first HSGI product I have gotten, so not sure if a taco will be able to take the abuse I'll be putting it through, its not the codura that has me worried as much as the bungees.

After I got my Taco pouches I mounted them.... Then I put them on my vest HAHAHA!

2 minutes? No. Have some calming music playing in the background. First one took 45 minutes. Also, 2 things to potentially add to the video: 1. The direction the clip should face when you first put them in. 2. Go "under the cord" on the sides. I don't know how to explain this better.

@CustomXsponjah I'll be rolling in my next match with 4 TACOs this weekend. Now that these things are mounted, they feel solid. I still can't bring myself to cut the latches off the pistol mag carriers and use only velcro. Thanks for the vid, BTW. It helped A LOT.

I cut the buckles off my HSGI pistol mag pouches about a year ago and haven't had a problem with just using the velcro. I'm probably going to windup going to a full set of TACOs for my pistol and rifle mags.

i can respect that you have to pay for labor. Its an ingenious design and i commend you for that but I cannot afford $100+ for just the mags pouches...call me crazy, then tack on ~ $6 for shipping...

Not many people will spend that being weekend shooters.

But the 1000+ we've sold in less than 6 months can attest to them actually working, and being worth it to the right people.

Also the ITW FastMag is $35 and only holds M4 Mags..

Ours is $25 and holds any magazine..

I got to admit that the more i look at them the more i want them lol. I'm not a "weekend shooter" and use my gear hard. Maby once the baby comes and we get settled with that. I'm experimenting with my own designs for personal use but they are still about $12 to make and i dont have a waranty...lol.
