  • A very intimate clip to find. Love the perfect demonstration of the guitar plucks and strokes !

Kool to hear where the song began ,as we all know what the song became.

  • Ya just don't know! Do ya ?

    V

  • THAT SOUNDS CRAP

  • I really love this one Wolf! Such an intimate feel to it! Lovely my friend!

  • I am just nutso for the whole Legend Of A Band CD! Love the videos, interviews, & of course this clip!

  • This song blew me away in 1966, and continues to do so. Imagine being able to see it sung-you couldn't back then.

  • I don't see him as bragging, but then, if you have it, it's not bragging at all. Don't discount the other band members. I have a LTD release BLUE minted 45 of "Blue Guitar" w/ John Lodge. I'll take $25K for it. Can you blame me? OK, not for sale-JW

  • Hey everyone... who is bigger, The Moody Blues or the Rock and Roll "Hall of Fame"? LOL

  • Great! Thanks for sharing with the MB fans.

  • He is a great song writer! Just beautiful!

  • the shire was a good place then

  • The Wu-Tang Saga Continues...

  • @locash74 fuck yeah

  • My favorite song of all time...

    Floyd

  • Great performance by Justin 5star posting Wolfman;) To my favs;)

  • This is so beautiful and well sung after all those years. Just amazing Justin has stayed so brilliant singing such a long time.... It also shows that this is such a strong song, only voice and acoustic guitar. The feeling remains while he is singing it in 1990. So natural...Thank you for putting it here, redbaron! Great!

  • I'd say 100 maybe 200 years from now, this era of music will be studied and an unimaginable myth will surround all the songs of that time. There will be scholars studying their influences and pondering how they could possibly come up with something so timeless and whimsical.

The influence LSD had on the mid 60's culture still hasn't filtered. When the dust settles, there will be statues built in honor of these musicians.

  • yes

  • Beautiful....thanks for posting this.

  • One of my favorite feel-good songs of all time. I love it :)

  • I wasn't trolling roach! Nor was I spamming. I know damn well who wrote this beautiful song. It's nice to see people who still down vote idiots, who have no clue about real music.

  • I love that his voice hasn't changed.

  • BEAUTIFUL! Glorious! Breathtaking! And the song is great too! (:

  • Incredible to see the creative process of this songs origins...the song itself is beautiful -add the incredible bass line and Mellotron and ...wow.

  • Still one of the most beautiful songs ever written, but this really underlines how much Mike Pinder's Mellotron part added to the song.

  • OMG Thank you so much for this video redbaron! WOW!

  • ALL MOODY FANS..TUESDAY AFTERNOON is the main heme of a beautiful commercial on TV featuring a father taking his son to the aquarium.

Watch for it ...you cannot miss the tune...it is a beauty of an ad.

    Tom in Utica

  • So beautiful and simple; appreciating a moment in time.

  • are you kidding me?

  • Quit your trollin

  • just friggin beautiful

  • There aren't many around these days with this guys kind of talent. What a voice. Great guitar playing too. Just him and his guitar. Wow! 5stringkeith

  • I truly hope he takes good care of it. John Raitt (papa of Bonnie) was a broadway star who overstayed his voice and did a painful appearance on Boston pops. We just have to keep those boys oiled up and rested...when they stop touring,, we will be the poorer, and those poor women who ger all zoopy over justin and the rest will have to ...hmmm..what WILL they do ?

    Tom

  • Nothing tells the quality of a vocalist the way an acousitc, unamplified, un augmented session does.

I just finished setting a Mike Oldfield fan straight about Mr. Hayward here...as being superior on git-fiddle (hillbilly for guitar)..and now, I extend a challenge to the rock/pop world for others to stand to this level.

This is my fave band period..since 1970..12 concerts..every one better than the last. Best place to see em...Finger Lakes NY-on the grass-not under the shell.Tom-Utica NY

  • Hi telsport I agree NY grass is the best place to imagine Mr. Hayward and friends performing. The man has the voice of the ages.

  • justin my dream...justin stay forever...in the windy fields ...inspired wild stallions...are not afraid... of the storm from you enchanted guitar...justin my dream...justin stay forever...they understand it...justin my dream...justin stay forever...

  • always a pleasure to hear...

  • expresses my soul...

  • oh God! Just ordered the DVD! Saw them last Tuesday at Hershey Theatre!! LOVe them! I am leaning toward obsession over Justin. I have never sesn a more sexy man in my life. 2 feet away from me at the theatre!!! Whoa-my fantasies!

  • That voice is great! Justin is not hard on the eyes either. :)

  • Will see The Boys at Hard Rock Tues evening March 25th. Can't wait

  • You saw them at the Hard Rock?? I hate you!!

  • It was incredible. I sat in VIP section, recorded some on my cell phone. Second song was Tues. After. They really are great. Acoustics can't be better in there.

  • i loved this video a good one!!!

  • I had the pleasure of seeing these guys in concert last summer. They're still as lively and wonderful as ever!

  • sometimes these afternoons still happen Billy. Sometimes they even come in the mornings!
