You have played very well! The notes are very sharp and the moving of the bow is perfect, but I had the impression that you played without any emotion... No fermatas, no diminuendos... It felt artificial.
i love how he plays the violin i play the violin but i wish i could play the violin as well as he does maybe a few more years and ill get there ive been playing for 2 years now lol and i still suck but for my concert thts coming up im only in a school still not famouse but im playin this song lol
@verydarkgothic ... Yes You can teach yourself. Just buy some books explaining all the details and the notes. As well as a fingering chart. Then watch some how to play the violin on youtube. That's what I did for the first time I started playing. There should be lots of violin books if you live in the U.S.A. Just go into a music store and ask for beginner books on violin. And then get the phantom of the opera and try for it.
@verydarkgothic yes you can, but before you do that, find someone to teach you how to hold the violin and the stick. Or watch a bunch of youtube videos and pay attention to how they're playing it how they're holding it, I am sure you'll get it within a week..
@verydarkgothic but it's possible! :0 try it anyway, make sure to go back and forth through books, videos, forums, anything! and check that u are using the correct techniques, etc. practice infront of a tuner to check ur intonation. And when you got the money, go for a teacher. By that time, you'll most likely have enough experience under ur belt to pick up on things easier.
Uouuu!! Very good interpretation!! Congratulatios. The Phantom of the Opera is one o my favourites!!
Could you please tell me where did you obtain that MIDI file? Or even better, if you don't mind, could you please send it to me? My address: diego.obregon.k (at) gmail.com

I wouldn't recommend it. Without a good violin teacher, it can cause more pain than good, and you'll be spending years figuring out why things doesn't work.
You're just incredible, I see you're not a professional yet, but you do everything I wanted to do with a violin. You was right now a inspiration for me, I will fix my old violin (that I never played before, just bought) and start to pratice. I'm calling to a professor and scheduling some classes.
There are many brands you can go for, but I don't recommend "shoe-box" violins (really cheap ones). I used Ragetti violin when I was a beginner, and it lasted me many years before I decided to upgrade. Talk to someone from a reputable violin shop and explain your situation/budget. Better yet, ask your violin teacher. Good luck!
You are indeed talented and practicing scales is the base of music so keep doing that. im soon going to start to play violin and im ready to work and pratice to be as good as you.Thank you for inspiring me
i have no words... but i just want to say that you play fantastic. i wont be surprised if u will be a componist in few month.. or maybe even tomorrow.
Sluring makes it much more fluid and all, but some parts arent meant to be slured. Some notes need their own bow so they can be more emphasized, and emotional. Im sure you know that though. It was nicely in tune for most of the piece.

I am so in awe of your playing. I play violin too and I wish I could shift as fluidly as you do. That last note you hit was perfectly in tune and just right. Awesome job. You're amazing.
@kikolady last note isn't that hard to hit due to the fact its a mere whole step up, and because hes already in that general area its easy to shift up a half or whole step during a rest to snatch the last note
