Guerlain Homme L'eau by Guerlain review

Just bought a bottle of this. Tried it on for two days already. Smells more fresh with little hints of the original during the first 10-15 minutes. After that I can't smell it on me. It might be due to the cold weather or just my skin but projection and sillage is non-existent. Looks like I'm going to wait until summer to test this out again. So far right now I like the original Guerlain Homme.

John, where the heck can you purchase this one online? I went searching for either a decant or a full bottle and came up with nothing. For a fragrance that was released just last year, this one is amazingly non-existent!

I have never seen that one! good to know. I tester the Intense version in Vegas and it was just slightly stronger than the original. Great review as always!

Great video as always, John! Can't wait to try this ... I've been on a Guerlain rampage for a couple months ever since smelling Mitsouko, my new holy grail. Incredible. Have you tried sone of their classics like Derby, Jicky or Mouchoir de Monsieur? I'll send you decants if you'd like.

Great take on this one John! Definitely mint done RIGHT!

And oh yeah, FINALLYYY, someone who has the same reaction to that odd ball musky mint note on Roadster that I do... just don't get why anyone carries on about the mint in that fragrance.. but at least I know now I wasn't the only one it rubbed the wrong way.

Terre d'Hermes, Voyage d'Hermes, Silver Mountain Water. You've got fantastic taste! I haven't tried this one, but it doesn't sound like my kind of thing. Especially considering it has mint in it. I just got to try L'Artisan's Mure et Musc Extreme, and now THAT's my kind of fresh fragrance. Tilda Swinton Like This is also weirdly fresh, in a rustic sort of way.

@Kerosenetrewthe I definitely suggest it. By reading the notes, it seems like it would be a fall/winter scent, but it isn't. It really reminds me of summer. It's so bright and uplifting! It's bizarre. Definitely full bottle worthy for me. A review on Luckyscent says it's like "honeyed sunshine", and that's pretty much the perfect description.
