Yes < Know what you mean, after watching clapton vids I get depressed about my own Playing...makes me want to cut my freakin fingers off! I practice for hours a day for 30 years and I know I will never be as good. Why did he get all the talent? Oh yeah..CLAPTON IS GOD!!!

in 1975 my dad married Jamie Oldackers sister Carol and i was fortunate enough to see them in oakland ca. on the slow hand tour. Being the first concert for me to say i was blown away is an understatement. Eric Clapton is such a nice guy, he spent time talking with me about playing guitar after the show but after that show i never took another guitar lesson.....ever. from then on i went to the drums, and never looked back.
