  • i grow up omisima and live in osaka now.

i heard my father went hirakiyama for hanami this year.

this is really great video. i really enjoy your video!

  • Whoever rated this video thumbs down deserves to be shot. I just about cried.

  • Really beautiful video

  • Hey Deas,

Thank you so much this was amazing! I really wanted to go back to Japan this spring, but it didn't fit into my schedule. I'll be there June. Do you have any suggestions on interesting places to go to? I'll mainly be in the Kanto and Kansai regions. Thanks again for putting this video up.

  • @shooby19 Thanks for the compliments! My recommendations would depend on where you've been - I always encourage further exploration. If there are places you've not yet been but you think might be interesting, I think you've already got a pretty good answer!

  • Wow this is great quality but i wish I was there in person.

Video might be a bit too long for my attention span though.

  • @d4veg I know what you mean - but when you're there in person, it's hard to cut things short. I was walking around filming and taking pictures for what felt like 30 minutes but was closer to 3 hours! Ha ha. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it.

  • Beatiful! T_T

  • @mguerard Hiya! This park is known for its massive cherry trees - the ones along the walking paths are especially gigantic. Others are about the same height as dogwoods, though. (Another favorite of mine!) Thanks for the comment. :-)

  • I hope to experience this for myself one day.

Seriously, it looks so beautiful and touching just from the video. I can only wonder what it's like in real life.

Though I have to say, most people's videos or photos don't do it justice but yours was awesome!

Especially the close-ups, oh my goodness. XD

Thanks for sharing this with us!

  • @DZeeNChaos Thanks for the kind words! I guess there are no more star ratings, but I'd appreciate it if you'd "like" the video. (Dunno if it does anything though.)

  • pretty!!! i wish i was there!

  • Great job on the video, i can really see the effort put into this video. do the flowers have a smell, if they do then the whole park must smell awesome. also, i heard that there are different kinds of the same flowers like plum flowers, and cherry blossom, and peach i think? anyways great i would give a 5/5 if youtube let me but i say i like it XD

  • @worldgenius Wow - you found the video pretty fast! I was hoping it'd finish processing and be available in HD before anybody would notice. Ha ha. Yes - the flowers do have a smell, and the whole park smells wonderful. You're also right that there are different kinds of flowers - but plum (ume), etc. are entirely different types of trees. There is variation within cherry trees too, though - white blossoms, pink blossoms, etc. They bloom at different times, too.

  • @DeasTube thanks for the quick reply, hopefully one day ill make a trip there when i can, japan must be amazing. also, i enjoyed your other videos with the deep sea diving and other ones, must be awesome to experience. im currently learning katakana on my own and plan on taking a class. i learned hangul a while ago, but still practicing speech, becoming fluent is no easy task, lol. also, if i may ask how long did it take to adjust to the culture/living stlye of japan? if living there?
