I think this is the Academy's attempt to attract younger viewers to the telecast. I just hope it does not debase itself to MTV award standards. This is the Oscars after all and a sense of prestige has to be preserved. Trust me, I'm no prude. I can appreciate a good fart joke with the best of 'em. But this is a different audience and tone. That being said, I think Franco and Hathaway are two of today's best young actors out there. I hope they do well.
