You had the right idea, just didn't implement it well. If you keep running down that street until you see a checkpoint to the left, all you have to do is turn right around the sharp comer of the building right under the Uber Gun, go a bit farther to a tower where a Nazi is standing watch, climb it, stealth kill him, then climb the building right where you turned around the sharp corner. It takes you to right under the gun's platform where you can plant a charge unseen.

yeah i just fucked it up so many times that i just went past that little barrier near where he climbed up and there is a guard tower beside the turret. blast the shit out of it with the launcher and then i fell from the tower and it saved the mission inches from my death on the ground and bam mission completed

After several failed attempts, I found it much easier to just sneak around to the AA gun, kill the three guys there, then use the AA gun to blast the Big Gun (and the technician) to hell!

I have this one pre-ordered and I was excited to play it, but the game critics are giving The Saboteur a poor score and stating that it is a mediocore game at best. I want these reviews to be wrong! I hear you man! I really want it to be good, but it's always a gamble. To back up my statment, check out Metacritic (70). I do like Gamespots review (7.5), where the critic brings out the good things about the game. I'll grab it tonight!

I personaly look at some game scores, but they are not a decisive factor whether I'll enjoy the game or not. Dark Sector for example. I love the game. Still play it from time to time. Yet it got about 7.5 or lower on most reviews.

i just cant get over how historicaly inaccurate this game is,in its looks.the soldiers helmets for instance have two swastikas one on each side and a whermacht eagle in the front and all the officers and generals have ss rankings even if they are whermacht,and they have overdone practicaly every nazi vehicle in the game and the gestapo cars are just priceless but its the most accurate ww2 game ive seen in a while and its a realy great game so buy it!!!!!!
