  • Just received a confirmation of shipment of my latest F&T order: Kendall brown, Macouba, Old Paris and Dr. J.R. Justice... Can't wait! They all got such good reviews.

  • @rdgouw right on! The F&T's are a great collection. Although most got great reviews, I still don't like some of them LOL , but that is my own taste, everyone is different. You may end up liking the ones I don't! But I do enjoy Kendal Brown, Macouba, and Old Paris, good choices!

  • @MrMichaelSnuff Still waiting at my mailbox for the F&T order... In the meantime I'm discovering some Wilsons of Sharrow varieties (as you can see it's getting a bit out of hand here already...;)). I think the Jockey Club is really fine. It starts with a kind of incense smell, sandalwood maybe, some cinnamon and it ends with a chocolately smell. And then we have some SP snuff.

  • @rdgouw I was the same way, I got real anxious waiting for them. Yeah it becomes a real collectable thing :-P . I think I probably got 50 different varieties of snuff now, I'll count them up sometime soon :-P . I enjoy an SP snuff more than the Jockey Club. Even though I haven't had it, I know I won't like it... I dislike the smell of Sandalwood very much. SP's are nice, I like the citrus scents. Bordeaux seems very citrusy as well. It's amazing

  • Really like your snuff reviews & tips! Only recently I've discovered snuff and I'm trying different types. The F&T snuffs are really good and I recognise the experiences you have with those. As I live in the Netherlands I tried the dutch snuff first. The snuff is produced by 'De Kralingse Snuif' (snuifmolens.nl).

My personal favourites are 'musino' and 'mettaijer' (really subtle):

    snuifmolenswebshop.nl

    Maybe yo'll like them too.

  • @rdgouw Right on! Glad to know that you like them :-) . I hope the videos have been helpful. Yes the F&T snuffs are quite amazing, very well crafted. I have heard of that snuff, I believe they do a snuff called "Molens Bon Bon" and apparently it is really nice and sweet. I am definitely gonna have to check them out!

  • @MrMichaelSnuff Actually I have a little container of Bon Bon over here too. Really nice one. It's a light brown, quite coarsely ground and medium moist variety based on fermented Virginia. Really very aromatic tobacco smell and it's a bit similar to the Musino. It has a clear vanilla component and a hint of orange. Easy to use and it won't hit your throat/lungs straight away. The scent will stay in your nose for quite a while.

  • @rdgouw Wow, you can figure out many smells from your snuff, that's good! Sounds like your nose can detect the complex mixture of scents.

Have you had Bordeaux by Fribourg and Treyer?

  • @MrMichaelSnuff Well yes, I found out this little trick to get a more intense experience (for me it works): sniff the snuff as usual, but after that don't breathe through your nose right away. Breathe in through your mouth only and fill your lungs. Hold your breath for a few secs and then breathe out through your nose really slowly. This way the snuff will be moistened a bit more and all the scents will occupy your nose :) Don't forget to start breathing normal again ;)

  • @MrMichaelSnuff Oh and I have received the Bordeaux just recently. It's magnificent (or is it magnifiscent ;)) I would say it's a Rolls Royce. Powerful, yet subtle. The scent stays for a real long time. What is it? Rose? Bergamot?

  • @rdgouw LOL ! Good one man :-P. Yes, most definitely it is magnificent. An excellent snuff by F&T . One of my TOP favorites.

"Bordeaux Snuff by Fribourg & Treyer is blended using Zimbabwe Dark Fired & Flue Cured Stem tobacco. Flavoured with violets, geranium bourbon, lemon may blossom, tonquin essence and musk, Bordeaux snuff is regarded by some to be an everyday snuff."

  • Happy New Year! I've been watching your vids for awhile now, but haven't commented yet. I really enjoy your reviews and you have give me alot of information and tips which really helped me on my snuff journey of 3 months...I have been smoke free for two months!...(this really works folks.) It is a pleasant alternative to the cig. Does anyone know why when you try a new snuff for the first time, you might not like it at all, but if you go back in a week or two, you feel differently @ it?LOL

  • @dragonofthedawn40 And a Happy New Year to you as well. Thank you for viewing! I hope they have been helpful videos. I have tried to be as helpful and educational as I could be. Right on good for you! I haven't smoked cigarettes in over a year now, and it was nasal snuff that helped me quit. Although I never had a real problem with them, it has helped a lot. Much more pleasurable than a cigarette. Not really sure what that is, I think it's just your tastes. I've done the same thing

  • i thought you were supposed to lick the salt, suck the lemon, then drink the shot......but sniffing the snuff, biting the chocolate, and drinking the tea works too!

  • @steelball78 LOL That's right man! :-P

  • get some "postillion" from bernard. its up there with zwiefacher.

  • @steelball78 Yes I heard that one is amazing. I think all of Bernard snuffs are probably AWESOME :-P

  • As far as Schmalzlers go I REALLY like them BUT the back drip is just horrible... I try like hell to keep this from happening by stuffing.

  • @joesnuffer Is it the taste of the drip? or the texture?

  • @ZacknSnuff Definitely the taste. It is a strong, spicy taste. You'll see when you try some Schmalzlers one day ;-)

  • @joesnuffer You get use to the drip, believe me ;-) .

Stuffing is actually the best way to avoid that drip. Probably one of the best ways to use Schmalzlers as well. But seriously "just suck it up" LOL . Nah I'm kidding, but half seriously you may just eventually get use to it. I have pretty much gotten use to it, only sometimes does it make me twitch like in the video LOL

  • Great videos Michael, keep up the good work when you have time.

  • @MrColcannon Thank you, I hope you enjoy them. Definitely more to come

  • I use Debut (free version) to record. but then i must add that video into windows movie maker so that the audio is in sync. and it's easy for editing and cool effects lol.

  • @ZacknSnuff I should try that. Only thing is my Windows Movie Maker likes to not import the video with the video LOL, just the audio. So maybe I should try reinstalling or updating... I'll figure it out LOL
