I remember seeing old cartoons from the 1930s and early 40s mock this thing.. Bugs Bunny did The Charleston many times, so did Daffy Duck!

Yes, we've also had Dancing with the stars on Dutch TV but as far as I know, they didn't dance Charleston. Pity! But maybe next time??? I don't even know if there will be another sequel of Dancing with the stars. So I continue to watch this beautiful Hungarian couple instead.

My wife and I think the Charleston was the best dance ever invented. I could never do it, but it is a great dance.

Oh Loutyr, you are so right about that. I love it too and have some Charlesston music at home. This is some of my favourite music!! Sometimes I wish I'd live at that time, but........then I couldn't have enjoyed figureskating and especially Toller Cranston.

I don't know if Dancing with the Stars plays on Dutch TV but they do some great charlestons. This years show starts mid september! Best.
