The Android market is so much like the PC market. It's all about specs, but nothing unique at all since so many phones use the same software. It's all a fucking specs war.

Specs this, specs that, specs here, specs there. My specs are bigger than your specs. Your specs can't out spec my specs.

Windows Phone and iOS have it right. The software and integration is the real focus here not the specs. The fact that WP7 and iOS can run so damn smooth on half the "specs" is more proof of that.

There is a section in ICS where you manage your contacts, and it featured "sliding panes" just like Windows mobile. I'm not hating on it at all though.. I personally think it's a nice feature and there's nothing wrong with borrowing some ideas. Everybody does it..

If someone borrowed my idea like that, I'd think it was flattering and then 1-up them instead of suing, which is what all the big wigs have been doing lately :[

@johnc425 actually, according to a head worker in Google, the barometer is just there (on the phone) to help find location. i dont know if they took much use of its capabilities in the weather "predicting" department.

in the beginning samsung devices allwayz look impressiv but after day to day usage they are really that good as they apper . in the begnng of this year when samsung s2 sounds like hell but after when i personaly used it was not that great as much i was accepting now this fon sounds amazing i hope samsung will not dispoint this tym :)

As an iPhone fan, I can truly say that Android is reaching the mature status it needed to be taken seriously. I look forward to see what it has to offer throughout 2012. Hopefully Apple doesn't sit on their butt too much longer or all hope will be lost for the iPhone.

ICS appears to be a nice mix of Android 2.x, iOS, and Windows Mobile. The Galaxy Nexus should be KILLER!

For me, iPhone's just aren't something I like (as of right now). But like you said, if Apple picks it up a little with the 5 and brings a few more customizations features I'm looking for, I may switch over from Android.

Apple is being too smug about their OS right now. iOS5 is mostly the same thing as iOS4, and if they continue to ignore Android, then the Android OS will win me over when it's time for me to upgrade.

Hopefully they wake up and smell the coffee, because competition is win/win for every party.
