I think her passion for classic music reflects more into My Winter Storm. And that's why its such an amazing alubm to me. She always wanted to do classic music, you can feel that in Angels Fall First. Oceanborn was made to become more popular and with speed metal melodies. Still Nightwish was always a good band with Tarja. Now its still good but its not Nightwish at all ...

Comparing NW with Tarja and Anette is the same as to compare the vase made of porcelain(NW with Tarja) and vase made of mud (NW with Anette). Anette has to work a lot to reach Tarja's level so NW to become again a vase made of high quality porcelain again.

Nightwish were incredible with Tarja but she was only going to stay for one more album anyway. And yes Anette may not be what Tarja fans wanted, but really it wasn't our decision to make =/

I suppose it all comes down to the type of voice you like. I like Anette as a raw vocal without classical influence, she may be as good as we'll get in that style. I prefer Tarja's style and voice, but I think Anette is how she wants to be vocally. I'm sure we can agree that after Tarja the guys really wanted something as different from her as possible (which is understandable). I just get annoyed when people compare her to Tarja And she sings from the heart, which is all that really matters

The band, not just Tuomas, fired Tarja because of the fact they couldn't get along with Marcelo and 2 managements in the band. And how could Tuomas damage her? After 9 years of being together? Tarja was willing to stay around for one more album, but ever since she got married the whole management has been hectic, and neither sides can keep going for too long. Enough stress was enough stress for the band.
