@arpegiosamistikus Excuse me this type of music is quantum rock fully start whit Insurgentes and to appreciate it is necessary to listen with good headphones this musician has already made the quantum leap.
Oh my gosh, oh my gosh,oh my gosh!!!! I was waiting so long for another Steven solo album. Insurgentes is still one of my most beloved albums of all times... Steven I fucking love you mate :D
0:00 Grace For Drowning 0:45 Sectarian 1:45 Deform To Form A Star 2:45 No Part of Me 3:45 Postcard 4:45 Raider Prelude 5:35 Remainder The Black Dog 6:35 Belle De Jour 7:35 Index 8:35 Track one 9:35 Raider II 10:35 Like Dust I Have Cleared Fom My Eye
We will see Steven with his other 5 band members in Chicago on Nov 18, 2011 on the very last day of his 2 month tour and hopefully they will make it a special evening. From this preview It does seem to be more experimental than his first solo Insurgentes album. This could to be a classic album? For those people not aware of Marco Minnemann the touring drummer he is excellent and he will impress all the people attending this concert. It should be great!
@lkeslinke in Chicago he ends but in Poland he starts... I hope this evening will be special too... no wait- not 'hope', I'm sure;] such a brilliant musician... I'm simply proud that I can live in his age and attend his concerts!
@lkeslinke I'm going to this too, most anticipated day of the year! I saw Porcupine Tree in Chicago last year and they were beyond words. I would imagine a live performance of grace for drowning would be incredible, we'll get to hear the whole album in 2 days!
HOLY MELLOTRON!!! I love it, I cant wait for this new album. Hes a major influence on me when I write music for my project Ivory Forest. One of many influences. I didnt care all that much for his first album, but this album sounds like its gonna be really good. I liked Insurgentes but, I still preferred Porcupine Tree more. But I like the 1970's prog rock feel to a lot of this newer material. LOVE THE MELLOTRONS!!! But I just love the experimental feel to this new material.
BF3 = Steven Wilson
