  • Diglet!

  • Better than MW3.

  • @mrgoukimaster ALL GAMES ARE BETTER THAN MW3

  • I suck at this game. Maybe if I didn't have a social life I be better at it... Fucking Friends

  • There's a Spongebob version of this game.

  • @shootersblog so they make rip-offs from old arcades

  • This used to be wayyy harder. Cheater

  • Hahahaha you noob, I get 3,000 points on the first round.

  • @EricLovesThc I don't mind. Besides, this is a gameplay video, so fuck off!

  • @Retrogamer41 Relax, I'm just disappointed because you didn't crush any monsters with a rock >.>

  • @EricLovesThc Ok, I take that as an apology. I just hate most morons comment being too boastful at the game thet play & brag about it by comments.

  • @Retrogamer41 Nah man I was just waiting for a smash that never came, thanks for the vid bb ;]

  • @Retrogamer41 hey!

  • Minecraft in a nutshell

  • And they said Manhunt was too violent.

  • This is my favorite game because it's so underground.

  • Damn, this game is violent.

  • JAJAJA YO LO HACIA PARA HACER SONAR LA MUSIQUITA PEGAJOSA JAJAJ QUE RECUERDOS ME TRAE ESTE JUEGO !!

  • THIS GAME COPIES TERRARIA HURR DURR

  • I remember play this game on a modded famicom cartridge,if you don't know what it is:it is some sort of a pirated copy of famicom game, these things usually has more than 1 games on it.

The one i played on has about 65,000 games in it.

But actually it's just the same 3 or 4 games with different kind of "mods"

One of the Digdug game on it starts at level 600 with infinite life.

  • @Aschsaver I own a modded famicom too.

  • i miss this game:(

  • Dig dug is a cousin of Pac man

  • Weird that this never came out on the NES.

  • OMG I REMEMBER PLAYING THIS WHEN I WAS LIKE 7 OR 8!!!

  • I remember there was a similar game to the Super Nintendo.

  • Love this game

  • f**ing god at this! I never beat level 2!

  • @PSNpivottt i've beaten level 2 it's very easy!

  • tapping Fire button?

  • Dig Doug looks like a smurf x:

  • OOOOOOOH FUCK A VIOLENT GAME ON THE FAMICON

  • I am wearing a DIG DUG T-shirt right now.

  • I played the shit outta some DigDug on my GameBoy 1... :D

  • PEGI 16

  • there was a famicom consle called the family boy, it had a least 10 games built into it. 1 had a SERUOS rip off of dig dug, it was called"carpet car" and it was JUST like the original game... exept that the sprites were COMPLETELY different... there was a rip off of SMB1 called"mushroom" and the music was just EAR PERCING! the goombas looked like freaking HAMBURGERS, bowser looked like a zombie, the first players name was "frog" which is a REALLY RETARDED name for a mushroom

  • This game brings back memories for me, when I was a kid, my parents, brother, and I would go to pizza hut, this pizza hut had a small corner area with arcade games in it, and after the whole family was done eating, just before we left, my brother would go to one of the arcade machines and play this on it. I watched him too, he always got to like level 20 or so before loosing all lives.

  • @WelchDrew Cool. I make my birds inhale marijuana smoke!

  • I wish that music played when I walked. =D

  • 7800 version displays this game better to me, because you dont have the score, lives, and rounds to the left side. Same reason why i like the 7800 version of galaga, better.

  • good for annoying people in team fortress

  • Dats Right Mother Fucker, GAYUM OWVUH

  • @galloway62042009 LOL! Egorator reference. XD

  • @RetroGamer41 Too bad you need a a life you need to use a rock to kill the monsters

  • when i was like 5-7 i loved dig dug and id still play it today!

  • so there was no american version of Dig Dug for nes? It was only on the famicom?

  • The best part about dig dug is you have to keep moving to keep that awesome music going.

  • could he beat bomberman?

  • This makes me want to buy a Famicom

  • This port of the Namco arcade game was never released in North America for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It was -only- available in Japan for the Famicom. Thus, Namcot and not Namco in the attract screen.

  • @madaracs Yeah, i know. Thx for pointing out. :)

  • @Retrogamer41 Just clarifying for the people below who didn't know.

  • i remember just running around the levels just to hear the music

  • Sounds like a near-perfect clone of the arcade, except it's night time in this port, and the title is different. All ports do have their own value. Love the 7800 version also.

  • oh god nostalgy

  • haha good old dig dug, ultra classic

  • namcot lol not namco

  • Dats right mothafucka !!

    GAME OVA!!

  • this game was and still iz the shit!!!!!!!

  • @LilSlickVic1 yah it is da FUCKIN' SHIT!!!!!!!

  • i wish this game was reversed. you play as the dig dug and avoid the person

  • @airsoftbuddies50 The person IS dig dug you dumbass, the monsters are called Fygars and Pookas

  • @CainmosniMirrored His name is actually "Taizo Hori" & yes, the monsters are called Fygars and Pookas.

  • this game seems actually very disturbing =D

  • I love this game!

  • this game was easy i would play 4 hours as a youngin, and when i closed my eyes i would still see the characters lol

  • this game seems rather easy

  • @Ikimono To just fly through levels like this person is doing, it's not hard. Try maxing the score by crushing them with rocks, fighting them down lower, and getting all the veggie prizes that show up and it's much harder.

  • in bed, i always play this game on namco mussium on gba

  • I loved dig dug :D

  • @dennisnedry i never said it was realistic. i was saying that the enemies are not insects, they are dragons and ball like monsters

  • @dennisnedry insects arent the only things that live underground, certain reptiles, arachnids, rodents and the like live underground too

also these arent insects as they dont have 6 legs, and they are fictional dragons and orange balls in a fictitious world

  • @dennisnedry there not insects...they are dragons and...orange things invading the ground in which digdug occupies...

  • @dennisnedry self defence silly

  • This is very similier to Mr.Do

  • Always loved this game... Pumping the poor little critters full of air until their tummies burst... Awesome.

  • hey retro im doing an bartop arcade machine using the nes and old school tv for shooting games what are some of the best arcade games on nes i already have galaga , pacman ,

  • lol i love how the music stops when he does, damned iconic.

  • I can not pass round 26, bugs come out too fast

  • If you dislodge two rocks fruit/ veg items appear, collect them for bonus points!!!

  • You should have shown how the rocks are used and other things demonstrating the limits of DigDug's™ gameplay instead of just button-mashing like a pussy.

  • YOU'RE GOOD

  • i see that the sky is black on the nes which is kinda cool :) but on the one of the sony playstation namco museum series you can recontinue by press hold of the r 1 and push x and triangle on 1 player. on 2 player mode try push hold on the same r button and push sqaure than triangle buttons ! i love dig dug and that same silly banjo music he plays with his feet :D

  • MUSIC FTW!!!

  • i have this for gba lol good times

  • I feel sorry for the creatures

  • lmao dig dug!

  • What a poor player... This is not the good way for high score. Anyway, that's a good video, I still remember this game (available on Atari 2600)

  • OH YEA Jizz all over those dragons and thoses what ever the fuk they are

  • i think this version of dig dug is japanese

  • Comment removed

  • @callmehockey thx, dude. :)

  • I think this was the only home console version to get the theme tune right.

  • Kazoo Kazoo where are you?

p.s. I don't get this clue. Any one from Denver know what I'm talking about?

  • Ioved playing this game! But then it got stolen....So I cant play it anymore! >->

  • oh i forgot. THIS IS THE BEST THEME SONG EVER!

  • @TheRunescapeFreak111 You have to hear the mappy song.

  • this is the best classic game EVER!

  • Nes games have a lot of imagery that would be disturbing in real life.

  • Yeah, like pumping monsters with air till their bellies explode XD

  • @alasanof this gamer isnt nintendo's imaginary it's namco's. no offense

  • better in nes tehn attria

  • Namcot!

  • LONG LIVE DIG DUG!!

  • What a epic game! :D

  • How come in the arcade version of this game the pump can't go this fast. No wonder i kept losing

  • I loved playing DigDug as a kid, hell I still DO love playing the game.

  • i'm looking for a game similar to this(i think). different music in the game i have stuck in my head.

  • I've got the music stuck in my head.

  • I have reached level 12.

  • i 11 lol

  • I was just looking at Gamespot's Greatest Game Heros bracket and realized, oh Snap, I nearly forgot Dig Dug.

I love this game...and hearing it seems like only yesterday I played it.

Its been 15years since I last had it.

    Long live Dig Dug!!!

  • Too bad he lost.... :'(

  • See the "1- level 15" video for an expert.

  • This player missed the strategy of the game, which is to get points, not just blow up the enemies. If you use the rocks and drop them on several, you get bonuses.

  • i have this game for the atari 2600

  • I love Dig Dug! I have it on Namco Musume for the Gameboy Advance!

  • tazio 4 brawl

  • The music is still awesome.

  • It looks cool, i want to buy it.

    No!!! What have i do?!

  • Kinda sounds like beginging stages of pokemon game music

  • yeah it plays happy music then the bad dudes like hi! then that one dude kills him

  • This game is cool, but is kinda disturbing. O_0

  • yeah but hows its disturbing?

  • I don't know, but he's just exploding their bodies with air, while playing happy music, lol.

  • lol.

this game makes me smile for some odd reason

  • uf nostalgia,un gran recuerdo un gran juego disponible en xbox 360

  • there's only music when he moves?

  • dug digged!

  • where can i download this game?

  • q grosso! me hace acordar cuando era pendejo...

  • I play this on the 360.. lol

  • this game fun but its hard

  • i've made it to level eleven but i always die because i get close to the dragons space, the dragon blows fire, the fire GOES THROUGH the space, and hits me.

  • haha i hate that.

    i always die on level 16 D:

  • i used to play this game on my commodore 64!! that is old...graphics were bad

  • this is a crime that they didn't do a US version of that game

  • They release this game at PSP part of Namco museum battle collection.

  • ya but I mean that they didn'T do the US NES version of that game

  • Don't worry, at 600 Wii Points, you can get this game on the Wii Shop Channel, today! As well as that game from Konami where you play as a baby, and on WiiWare, "My Pokémon Ranch!"

  • Actually I've played this on xboxlive once here in america I think.

  • It's now available through game reproductions web site! Good for them!

  • @SuperDave341 They just release a US version of Namco Museum hits on Playstation 3 online store for 10 dollars to download.. So if You have a PS3 online account and have a PSN card worth 20 US dollars, You can buy this game and five more for only 10 dollars and plus if You have a Playstation Home account, if You beat all the levels you get free cloths, chairs, tables, and even a arcade machine of all five games to display in your Home apartment on Playstation Home.
