Well yeah I went with my drama class and they loved it. I admit I found it to be funny in some points. There were sadly some flat jokes though. It did work in alot of areas like the Close Encounters of the Third Kind reference, the scene with that couple in the car having a reverse role with the girl being the guy and the guy being the girl, and of course Seth Rogan's B.O.B. It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen and I wouldn't say Full Price, but it's worth a Matinee. Better than Madagascar.

Well I went with a group of people. They loved it. As for me I found it to be at least a Matinee for kids. It's okay, but there's just some jokes that fall flat. It's not bad, and it's better than other stuff Dreamworks has done recently, but I wouldn't say Full Price. It managed to get me to laugh a few times though.

I went to this movie w/ my bf. We sat there, bored, throughout the entire film. The humor was definitely @ children's level. Shrek's humor was sooo much more witty and original. THIS movie's humor was just...lame. I consider myself to have a great sense of humor, because I LOVE to laugh. However, I didn't laugh even once during this entire film. The characters are cute, but that's all the movie has going for it. 5/10

I'll have to agree with you. The humor just didn't come off as it should have. They aimed too low, whereas they should have made it more like Incredibles, i.e., injecting a more adult storyline. It picked up at times when the action kicked in, but it aimed too far for the kid audiences. THe movie should have aimed for a PG-13 rating. I never really laughed, only smirked or emitted the occasional "heh." But it was a light, easygoing, non-demanding escape from the real world.
