  • ask dik darnell, their producer..he was the one that got him.

  • This did come out on Lp cause I have it along with the debut which I now have burned onto CD...

  • Great voice! I saw Stallion live, invited by my friend Jorge Gonzales, Stallion's bass player. "George" and I played in two bands together; The Shadows of Knight, and a Dixieland show group. (?!?) The night I saw the band in the western suburbs of Chicago, there were maybe a dozen people in the club, and the band was smokin'. Larry played an awesome solo.

  • Great hearing this for the first time. I just finished Larry Harris' book about Casablanca records where we learn a little about this band. Sound like a classic 70's Eventide vocal treatment. Whip-tight!

  • Great song just like old fashion boys your the one.

  • Thank you brother. You know there was an explosion on the end of that tune. Scary huh??????

  • Not sure who created this video to go along with this song, but I really appreciate it...it rocks! I wanted to say thank you...this is me singing lead on this piece. This song is timeless.

  • @SingingKiller

And by the way, loved that voice my friend!!!

  • @SingingKiller Is that you singing foreal, or just someone thinking it is?

  • @jason75 Yes that is me for real and I'm the one one the end of Old Fashioned Boy with the high voice. I make me feel good that you like it. Thank you

  • @SingingKiller It's too bad neither of Stallion's Casablanca releases have even made it to CD. I don't know why UMG won't let any reissue companies redo these albums? I hope to see these albums at iTunes. I know there are probably quite a few people who want the Top 40 single "Old Fashion Boy." BTW cool song here. don't think I've ever heard it. It's a real 70's rocker. This song should've gotten more airplay on AOR.

  • @bucky468 The Stallion 2 album never was released. I'm not sure how mudcatblue got a copy. I appreciate the positive feedback.

  • @SingingKiller

do you remember your last keyboard player before you broke up, Randy Lee Crain?

    rdc

  • @RickeyDaleCrain I am sorry but the last keyboard player I remember is Al Campbell.

  • I knew the drummer and the producer is my cousin. I love the album and the group. Thanks for posting it

  • @ith0 Hey, when you next talk with your cousin, tell him the Singing Killer says hello. Is he still a vegetarian or has Dik gone vegan :-)

  • Hey Paul;Cool stuff Brother,check me out at Garygee67

  • Huh, imagine that. 30 year old lyrics that are still relevant today. Great song Catman !

  • I can Dig It...nothing better than real rock. Thanks for the post and cool video !
